Hey man - I posted about your excellent work on the soundsonline forum quite some time ago - and just wanted to recongratulate you on an incredible effort and being a more than worthy prize winner. I apologize for the double video response - I did not mean to post the Comic Remnants video and I don't know how to delete it! Great job once again!
I did "One-Winged angel" with EWQL couple days ago, was the most challenging song i ever made. I don't know if it is as good as a "contest" winning song though... its on my channel if you guys have time.
Really nice m8! Gz to the first place... Well earned! I wonder, is it possible to get the animation just for trying myself? I wont distribute it at any way if thats not allowed=)
You would have to ask Zennor Alexander, the creator of the film. The final product for the competition was a quicktime video, but I don't know what was used to create the film...
It would've been a pain in my ass to follow that contest, because of the size of the videos... Thanks for bringing this up on YouTube, awesome work! :)
Loved The Animation and the Music Follow Along Very Well, Good Stuff Man.

How big of a learning curve is it to use EWQL samples?

very simple very easy! If you can play even a little piano you can start writing with EWQL

Yeah, pretty awesome, but I like that "Line of blood" song (made by some YouTube user) better.

Wow... very very nice. I've done some soundtracks; they're damn hard - and this is masterfully done.

I should try compose sth like that, too xD.
(but I'm the more happy/melancholic guy ^^).

Maxon's Cinema 4D for modeling and landscaping. Apple's Motion for layering and compositing.

Amazing concepts... And good 3d and layering techniques...
