  • UnseenLP.... "Never hold the stick with your other hand". WTF are you talking about???? Pipeliners do it all the time buddy. Pipeliners-798!

  • Horrible form honestly.. never hold the stick while your making a weld thats just plain stupid.

  • your movin that stick around way too much, especially in the flat position.slower with a slight, slow and steady side to side or even just drag it.way too much movement.

  • im taking welding in highschool but our teacher isnt so good half of the seniors in my class can weld way better than him haha

  • @ShaninSickology yeah, there are alot of instructors who cant weld, hell i weld better 7018 vertical up than my instructor does, but its really if you keep up, the longer you stay away from welding the worse you become, and alot of instructors just tell you how to... they dont usually physically show you and 98% of the time they just tell you what settings to put your machine on, and let you figure the rest out for 6weeks then they check up on you.

  • try sitting down u seem lil bit woblly tht could make u screw up im in tech in 10 grade going for welding and i sit when i weld cuz im more sterdeir just a lil advice

  • @rconlowtank our instructor makes us stand to put us in a more surreal scenario, most times when you weld, your not sitting comfertably your in a somewhat akward stance, but my electrode does wobble mainly because its the motion i want the 7018 to deposit, it creates a coin stack effect with much more penetration and a lower profile weld, im in tech at 12 grade stick welding, i took 11grade mig welding, and plan to take tech classes for tig

  • @rconlowtank i could post a vid of me doing a straight regular weld, with my body completely still if you want, but the welds do not look as nice

  • @mortarlover123 do u hold the sstinger with on hand or just one i just curious

  • @rconlowtank i weld usually with two hands vertical up on the stinger and on flat welds , i usually scratch start with one of my hands on the electrode and the other on the stinger and then move my hand out of the way when it starts to get unbearable hot

  • 7018's are nice to weld with, little bit trickie going up hill an overhead tho
