Pokemon was fun because it was a multiplayer turn based RPG where you could customize your party roster and battle with other locals. Despite how crazy the fanatics got, it's not hard to figure out why the game is appealing even in modern versions. Now they have it online, but I only briefly played one of the new ones. Just a lot of ignorant hate on the series. The guy you were mocking sucked, but you guys fail to make it more entertaining by just bashing what seems to be a decent game.

@BeBoBli I think their critique of the Pokemon games are very valid. The game never changed really, it's fundamentally the same for 12 years now. It's always "Stop evil Team X". And the Programmers ARE lazy. Never bothering to animate the Pokemon even in the DS games.

I admit, I still like Pokemon, but LPing Pokemon is a terrible idea. The only ones that would be worth LPing are the two newest for the DS and the first of the gamecube ones because those have actual things happening that don't follow the same stupid pattern. LPing them still wouldn't be worth it because there's more interesting stuff to watch...Like the 10000 Skyrim LP's that are shoddily done. Also 100 yen is about 80 cents last I knew, it's Kabuki and caboose, and the best Pokemon is Eevee.

My favourite pokemon is heracross. His type combination of bug and fighting is quite unique, and covers weaknesses. His only big weaknesses are flying and fire, others are well covered by his moveset. He has high attack and powerful moves, so makes for an effective sweeper. There's a video on youtube where a single heracross kills 5 legendaries in one hit, so this is proof of heracross's power. Heracross is also one of the pokemon ash used in the Johto league, so has that anime appeal to him....

My favorite Pokémon is Jynx. It's no surprise she's moving up the Pokémon food chain. It would shock the game industry if Jynx got Pokécancer in her front-loaded anvils! Imagine the drama of a vulnerable Ash biking Jynx to the Pokémon Center, avoiding getting arrested by Officer Jenny by keeping under the speed limit.
