Amazing game, basically a 30-minute battle for the 12 position. Constant tension. Great micro and macro from both. It's always a bit of a guess which unit combo is best - which is what makes it fun. Personally, I preferred tanks+bc.

Think of it like any other sport; if Dwayne Wade loses a game, it's not like the Heat stops paying him. However, if he starts getting a lot worse, it's likely that his salary will be lowered next year.

Flash mined more resources than Leta in this game and lost. I guess he spent too many resources trying to get back the 12 which was the main conflict of the whole game. Also, I think Flash did a sloppy move (By Flash standards lol) with the 7o'clock. That attack could've been better by mobilizing all the tanks to the high ground base... also destroying the starports Leta had as well as that base. He would have won that game if that but anyway the wraith king Leta won! :D

I don't think Flash doesnt know how good goliaths are as most of you commented..i suppose he wanted wraits also for it's good mobility and harrasment..goliaths on the other hand moves slower and cannot cross over terrains as it wishes to..noticed how Flash wanted to gamble when he rushed in his wraiths to the starports couple of times to prolly get some BCs/wraits out? They just have different strat, obviously talking like scissors, paper, stone in SC doesn't work..

They are in the Proleague playoffs which, until the finals (next set I believe), is best of 3 matches. So KT beat CJ in the first match a few days ago, and this one today.  Leta and Flash played each other both times presumably because there were two Terran favored maps, and each team sent out their best Terran for it.

Game came down to Leta's Goliaths. He knew when the big Air Battle came, it was down to his Goliaths. Wraiths < Goliaths. I was still surprised that it ended the way it had though.

OMG such a great game...

But seriously Flash I don't get his decision to make so many wraiths when he could have out-produced Leta in BCs..he mined 12 much more than Leta and obviously had a better economy for much of the game (his big attack on 7 killed like 40 scvs or something), but Leta showed so much sheer guts and determination to make a comeback...its games like this that keep me watching BW

One question though. If the players split the map in exactly half and mine it out shouldn't they have balance in resources? So Flash should have more resources in the bank until Leta mines out 12.

They didn't. Leta could never secure 12 for a long period of time. However, Flash lost too many wraiths and tanks after he was forced to retreat from the 12. He didn't have the gas income to beat Leta's really cost-effective army.

flash lose everytime due to over commit on wraith and bc and no goliath. i remember a game where flash got taken out by light in the final battle. flash got 10 more bc than light but lost because he got 0 goliath. never underestimate the goliath RANGE.
