I had the same thing happening on the mission "A New Life" when I whacked the clown, he kept floating around the house (where you find the sexy woman in a bikini with the necklace-thing) - when he stopped gliding around the rooms I shot him in the head lol.

Not a hack, just an exposed glitch on the PS2 version. There's a way to follow the orderly that pushes smith from his room, down the elevator which you can get in, considering you blow a mine near the elevator door to cause an alarm while he pushes him to cause the guards to open the elevator for you to get in. Kill the orderly in the hallway and you have a dead guy following you. o.0

You can't kill him so he goes the same route as if he was normaly standing.

how to use the glitch?

kill the orderly that pushes Smith's cart. In order to do that, you'll have to put a mine at the elevator that he pushes him into. Blow it up and the elevator door's will open. Just chase after him and kill him in the cooridor to get this neat effect.

I'm pretty sure you can, just try it. All you need is an RU-AP. Find the Tunnel Access video that I have and that's how you get in. Kill the orderly in the Tunnel and he'll end up this way.
