Good points here. The problem I keep coming back to is that if theres something out there. Totally battery powered vehicles for instance, that cant make money over the long haul, they wont come out with it, ever. Same thing with solar panels. The government wants and needs you to always have to buy something and pay taxes or it cant exists, same with businesses. Okay so we have the G20 movement for socialism, Alex Jones & Ron Paul's ideas of libertarianism, and the Zeitgeist movement for a resource based economy. @LacesOutRenato he has common sense. I'm not gonna say sit here and drink up everything Jones says but you need to atleast listen to what he's saying, he makes really good points. Its easy to get sucked up into an idea and certain ideologies when you want help with something, but maybe Jones is right about this...the elites need to go but at the expense of a better future not another fucked up one.

The whole land comment is not entirely rationalistic. There is a lot of land that is protected based on the environment, wildlife, etc. Although, there is a lot of land that could be used for better use that is controlled by our government. Maybe some day it will, but even now we as a society couldn't take on that task of taking free land and not killing each other without structure. The problem is that capitalism inevitably leads to unequal agglomerations of power. That's how the Fed was created. In a free market system a group of very rich capitalists were able to lobby and 'buy off' the politicians into creating the Federal Reserve. Money has to be eliminated for humans to be free, there I disagree with Alex. I agree with him about over-technologicalisation however as it puts the knowledge required for the production of heat/food/drink/light into the hands of a few.

I think a many progressive changes are possible within national & int'l political economies, but just b/c something is possible doesn't mean it will occur. Before I became a true Christian believer I wanted a utopia society too. I would have loved the zeitgeist movement. I like to watch Alex Jones he does try hard to route out the truth. I don't think the zeitgeist movement is related in any way to the NWO though. They are just naive to think that people can live free of sin. We all have desire's that lead to wrong doing greed, lust, gluttony etc.. These sins make it impossible to live in any kind of free utopia. and if its not free its communist.

It seems that technologies that would produce free energy for the individual's home or residential food production technologies ie omega gardens would put more power back to the individual. How are these technologies centralizing power? If you make these technologies even more robust and start to automate the process doesn't that free the individual even more? Good points here. The problem I keep coming back to is that if theres something out there. Totally battery powered vehicles for instance, that cant make money over the long haul, they wont come out with it, ever. Same thing with solar panels. The government wants and needs you to always have to buy something and pay taxes or it cant exists, same with businesses. You and I are forever going to be paying for things that we can, if allowed, buy once and never buy again.

When he said "world unification" that immediately sent up red flags for me. There are parts of this movie that make a lot of sense but so many of the details are outright scary. I believe the filmmakers have good intentions but this system of is ripe for abuse. All systems are. Alex is MISSING THE POINT. If machines and technology can erradicate or at least greatly reduce scarcity, and thus the need for money and profit becomes obsolete, then the structures that keep the so called 'elites' in power won't exist.

So there is a huge movement against the banks, but these three are going to clash. I personally think the resource based economy makes the most sense. The whole land comment is not entirely rationalistic. There is a lot of land that is protected based on the environment, wildlife, etc. Although, there is a lot of land that could be used for better use that is controlled by our government. Maybe some day it will, but even now we as a society couldn't take on that task of taking free land and not killing each other without structure. We have a very long way to go as a species, and are very far behind because of indirect representation.

I am speaking on behalf of the conscious of man,when a party fails it is its right that he/she take over.
Life has turned into a machine,I would prefer a more natural setting,If jacque fresco,roxane and peter stay true to there philosophy that the change should come about only free will of individuals with no time limit or pressure aplied,I am all for it,but like this guy said it is dangerous.

I believe Jacque (the old guy) that when this system works, humans can change in a social and creative creature who will work for the common good (could think of the Amsh) But because every human now still has a corrupted mind, some will definitly try to take over and control society/world. All humans will have to change their behaviours simultaneously.. I think that after the appocalypse the survivors could try this out. It might work then. We just don't know any better...
