The point is that the fully version is fully available and if you think O'Reilly came out on top you are utterly self decieved. It seems to me that a great many Americans have put their personal security before everything else and yet still consider themselves to be in some sense Christian. Do you understand how the stock market works? People invest or gamble on the future. The DOW market was over 14k when the Dems took over and now 11.5k Gas was $2.50 and now $4+. 11/06 the Democrats took over all the leadership in Washington, companies and investors are selling off. They see higher taxes and more restraints on US business. Higher taxes on pensions and dividends isn't good for the economy. Politicians should all be run out and start new....starting with McCain and Obama.

oh and on cindy sheehan, she has on record changed her story, but you won't hear that in popular (and reputable) media. she verbally implicated G. bush's caring and the like in old interviews, now she does not, perhaps because whe has changed her mind.

even some left-wingers who hate bill have noted that he definitely won on that interview with letterman. the video is another example of taking quick video quotes then cutting them off and not letting the other side answer. and on the silent night thing, bill was correct and so was the comment on the screen. that doesn't mean that by posting a comment following his quote that what he said was incorrect. logic is your friend, and i hope you take that class if ever you get the chance

Letterman only knows how to reply with generic, typical, liberal comments. Nothing he said deserved the cheers his liberal audience gave him. Well, then again, it is a liberal audience obviously; an audience without common sense.

Never mind two facts that tear your argument to shreds: First, O'Reilly is in the BUSINESS of taking people out of context. Second, This video leaves in EVERYTHING relevant from this interview, and doesn't undercut any "defense" O'Reilly offered. O'Reilly is a manipulative liar, and Dave called him on it. End of story.

Um... watch the Factor once in a while... or better yet, get some proof about what you're talking about! Don't just call someone a liar and leave it at that. The fact that Letterman said the "60% crap" thing doesn't mean it holds water! Letterman said so himself!

I have watched and DO watch "the Factor". His list of lies is WAY too long, but here's one example of O'Reilly's little gems: he's claimed that the institution of marriage in Sweden has "collapsed" since they legalized gay marriage there. The problem? The study he cited, complete with specific statistics, never took place. Also, Sweden HASN't LEGALIZED GAY MARRIAGE. They have civil unions, NOT marriage. So Bill lied. Period (actually, exclamation point).

Given the choice, I would rather watch Letterman's show than O'Reilly's. However, I've seen the whole interview and Dave came off like an idiot. He kept changing the subject and clearly wasn't listening to everything O'Reilly was saying. He was obviously just saying things that he knew would get applause from the audience. Letterman's "60% crap" comment was unnecessary and unobjective. I know Dave is going for laughs, but it was still a cheap shot at someone that he invited on his show.

Letterman said that he couldn't debate blow by blow with O'Reilly so, no this wasn't a match of wits. Letterman is an idiot, he outright insulted O'Reilly and O'Reilly took it all in stride making Letterman look petty.
