  • The reason why I'm watching this video is because my father is Zeus.

  • wow even this documentary get's hercules' name wrong. I believe that in Greek Mythology, his name is suppose to be Heracles which is suppose to mean "the glory of Hera" as another way for Hera getting back at Zeus. The name Hercules is in Roman Mythology.

  • 1stonestanding, roughly 3,000 years ago, just like the narrator said, not 10,000 years ago. This stuff is written down and referenced in many scholarly writings like poems, books, and philosophy, so the accounts of these myths in my opinion are fairly accurate.

  • These story's of the Gods ...are a little twisted in some places....but then again what can be expected when a story is passed down by word of mouth for 10,000 yr.s....

  • Achilles was real, also HE WASN'T A GOD

  • I love and I Believe in the Greek Gods, I Pray to them Every day.

  • God not exist

  • Realization will not bring them forth, it is not said in this that this will happen; get free from this and bring a new cult of awareness back to reality; a free spirit can be reborn, trust yourself!

  • Kratos Killed Them All.....

that is why their Ruins and remains are never to be Found, Because Kratos "God of War" buried them in a Pandora Box, so that they will never Come Back Again.... lool

  • @GershomAguinaldo fuck you men

  • Greek gods and stories are same as Hindu gods and stories .......not lying ...please do some goggling......i think ...one of them must be true ...or it can be so widespread :)

  • dis is manupulation nd corruption from da satan himself..

SOOOO wen does kratos cme in

  • the greek gods are more realistic because they show traits that all of us do, for example everyone can be good or equally as bad sometimes which i think is realistic.....other relgions just show their god to be utter perfection and beings that can do no wrong

  • @andrew4950 Why wouldn't you want to believe and trust in a god who is perfect, rather than a god who has flaws and makes mistakes?

  • i think i prefere disney's story of hercules :D

  • The Olympians are amazing because they're just like us and have the same pros and cons as humans do.

  • If only these Gods were real. Greece would not be in the mess today. broke ass!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO! Not TRITON its TRIDENT

  • i wish i was a son of posideon

  • Sometimes I wish the gods were real

  • @wresltgal

They were real, but they were not Gods. We called them Gods because they had powers that we couldnt't explain. There was no religion in Greece before Christianity. People just respect the "Big 12" and asked for their help when needed.

  • aLiens and gods

  • There are still people who worship and believe in the greek Gods and I'm proud to say I'm one who does lol

  • @silvaignis19 lol

  • i bet all the gods we had ever heard of were.. our own selves traveling to the past from the future so we are praising our own selves but from the future? LOL

  • I'm sure there's only one god. And even if there were many, there wouldn't be goddesses of prostitution of Gods that are pimps.

  • @lavabone The difference between the Abrahamic Gods and the Ancient Greek Gods is that the Greek ones had human behaviours whereas the Abhrahamic ones are benevolent. This is how they explained the nature of the world, because just as humans are capable of both good and evil, so was nature. Furthermore, rather than aspiring to the good nature of a benevolent God, I reckon they could judge the Greek Gods' actions for themselves, and use that as a basis for their own morality.

  • @lavabone You're just as sure about one god as the Ancient Greeks were sure of many gods. And if you think that your god (presumably Abrahamic) is only good and doesn't do evil deeds, then I'll give you some information (from the Bible, no less), that will make your head spin.

But perhaps you already know of the bad things that your god has done, but you think of them as good things. Genocide is OK...sometimes. If you're one of those people, then there is truly no hope for you.

  • @Rationalific Honestly, I believe in one God. I'm not an Atheist, but like anyone else (Except for the people who blindly believe.) I question it sometimes.

  • @lavabone That's a healthy attitude.

  • @Rationalific Well, I'm not gonna flip out on you just because you don't have the same beliefs. Lol. Everyone has an opinion, people should understand that there's people with other thoughts. I respect what you believe in, I'm just stating my beliefs. =P

  • @lavabone Cristians today need more people like you.

  • i believe tht thr is a god or gods up thr somwhr looking out for us but i do not hv a particular belief in tht god or gods name or names. I believe the only way to know the truth about god or gods or goddesses wud b to go bak in time to whr the god or gods or goddesses originated whr thr is solid proof about thr existence

  • Sounds like Heraclitus disbelieved for the wrong reason.

Nice series--you're right, it's a very appropriate accompaniment. It must've been made by a bunch of atheist pinko libs, eh?
