Even now after all these years, I look at that John Spencer montage and I still cry! He truly was an amazing man with a big heart and great gift! Still missing you John!
The guy in the hole story was the episode when Josh got the card to go into the shelter or whatever with the president and he was the only one asked so he feels really guilty about it.
Wut episode was that where Leo was tellin Josh bout the friend in the hole I don't remember. I've watch the series bout 5 times was that deleted scene lol
@wickedfreak4444 - No - it was not in the Pilot. [eyeroll] (We don;t know ANYTHING about the characters in the Pilot. Why would a scene this dependent upon character history be in a Pilot??) It is from Season 2 - Episode 10 - 'Noel'.
It was near the end of episode 10 of season 2. Episode is entitled Noel.
It's the one where Josh was having his PTSD meltdown.
That scene made me cry - and I'm a grown man. John Spencer was one of my all time favorite actors. Every time I see him in an old show or in a West Wing episode I miss him more than I did before.
@WoodBlock707 Actually, the episode is called Noel, when he speaks to the counselor about the PTSD he suffers after being shot at the beginning of season 2.
Noooo. It was the episode "Noel", in Season 2. Josh is worried he might be fired because of his post-traumatic stress disorder. After Keyworth diagnoses him, Josh walks into the lobby and finds Leo sitting there, and Leo tells the story. Bradley Whitford won an Emmy for that episode. The story is alluded to later in "Bartlet for America" when Leo is in trouble...and John Spencer won an Emmy for *that* episode.
@WoodBlock707 The episode is called Noël, season 2, episode 10. It's the one where Josh has a breakdown after the shooting and finally snaps after an Air Force-pilot with the same birthday as Josh kills himself. That scene is at the end.
LOL! I think Jimmy might have scared Martin for a second when he started shouting afterwards because Martin had a double take when Jimmy was yelling! LOL! FUNNY!
He was a really nice funny guy could tell you anything about anything he wasn't around much only met him a couple of times myself but when he was he was a great guy to have around
