  • Jacob

  • lags because its not optimized to Exynos chip as IPhone games lag on Android because they ported without optimization

  • A lot of lag on the samsung but this game is not optimized for this powerful device. I want too try on my galaxy note but gameloft not developed for this.

  • glad i got the LG Optimus Speed. <3

  • why have only few people play this game now ?

  • cyphen15, stupid bitch. 8 core - GPU! It's not CPU!

  • crysis comming soon! for 6 core mobile device,

i think your tittle is not correct Nvidia tegra2 ULP GPU 8core? WOW 8 core? LOL

and Samsung Orion Exynos is just dual core!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So, you mean Tegra 2 is better than Exynos?

  • lag in samsung.

  • I can see a noticeable lag on the SGS2 w/ Tegra 2. LG w/ the Exynos processor however seems to render 3D quite smoothly. Samsung's Exynos is on the iPhone 4/S so it should be that god isn't it?

  • @lynxman76ph thing is SGS2 has Exynos and LG has tegra2.

  • @tetsuokenpachi yeah but tegra 3 is coming out xD btw i'm a gigantic fan of gs2, i'm buying the gs3, they said its mid 2012

  • @Jer0meLey Samsung is developing new SoC, dual core with each core clocked at 2GHz and GPU 4x faster than the current Mali 400 ..they said it´s gonna be ported into tablets first then into smartphones (I would say smartphones will be in Q4) ;)

btw. I´m a huge fan of Sammy too, I´ve got my SGS 1 for a year now and it´s still good! I´ve overclocked him to 1,46GHz and ported Ice Cream Sandwich :D ..it´s soo smooth and great...but, I´m gonna get SGS III too when it comes ^^

  • @sokre988 i wish they made it quad core to compete with tegra 3, hey man, could you help me with this situation?, i have an iphone, i hate it and i text 24hours with it so i cnt play, i'm thinking of buying an sgs2 now because my mom is going to give me 800 dollars, but i started thinking of buying a graphics card for my computer so i can play, BUT i also want a laptop, this is what i'm thinking, i'm going to buy a laptop and a graphics card and save the remaining money for the sgs3, watdo y tnk

  • @Jer0meLey ..well, if I were you..I would bought Asus EE Pad Transformer (one with the tegra 3 chipset)and with keyboard of curse :)...search videos about Transformer, you´ll see that with it you get Tablet and/with Laptop(experience). The rest of money save for SGS 3(when it comes, sell iPhone and with money that you saved you´ll have enough;)). I don´t play PC anymore, I think Tablet and smartphone games are better and better every day.and you can easily mirror it via HDMI on TV.;)

  • @sprboymark bottomer line, ur stupid if u dont, exynos is better than the ti omap, the game just isnt made for exynos yet

  • what both is better ? tegra2 or exynos?

  • Bottom line - I'll not buy S2

  • how the hell can it lagg so much on ur phone it doesnt lagg on mine lol

  • I'm located in Singapore, so it is very much depend on your buying power and patience, if you can wait for a while, there a whole new changing game when a new mobile generation is out in the 2012. You should probably go Samsung, Motorola or LG since they can offer powerful hardware and new features far better than GN.

  • Tegra has no lag, it's the Exynos which has SLIGHT lag!

  • Tegra is better, much better

  • @AlexBurnout1 are you fucking dumb you ignorant fuck face.... check the benchmarks.... nuff said

  • @adilgangsta1 Did I ask you something, lil' fella? Listen, you should be more careful. In real life, I would beat you up.

  • @AlexBurnout1 ha you pussy if i ever see you ur dead man walking

  • It's just me, or the color looks better on GS2 ?

  • @rahadiancs Just you

  • it laggs like hell!

  • the Galaxy s2 using a mali 400 gpu is laggier in this game and maybe even some more games BUT remember when tegra 2 first came out some game swont even run because most games that time are optimized for powervr gpus which used proprietary texture compression techniques instead of the prescribed Opengl Es 2 standard. same for tegra 2 now

This isnt the fault of the GS2 or its mali 400 gpu.

Its the developer not fololwing OpenGL Es 2 standards.

  • Tegra 2 is amazing!!!!

  • the gpu on my nokia 6030 was so fast that it ran away..nice video

  • lol!!!

  • but can it run crysis?

  • @Consular327 Dude it can eve play bwttle field 3 at high settings!!

  • @Consular327 @ lowest settings maby 2 fps :P

  • @Consular327 but will it blend ?

  • @Consular327 Only with 8x AA

  • So many people come up with benchmark scores. How cares about that if in every day useage the ULP Geforce beats the Exynos GPU like hell.

  • @ely577 Absolutely right, except the exynos is much faster.

And I confirm again, this game is not galaxy s ii supported. So it does not prove anything.

  • LG for the winning!

  • Every1 needs 2 understand that the LG gx2 has a 1 ghz cpu,512 mbs ram & runs off android 2.2, so the disadvantage is still on the gs2, while the galaxy 2 has a 1.2 ghz cpu,1 gig of ram & runs on gingerbread! So when the tegra phones with 1 gig ram with & gingerbread are out it'll B even better faster & stronger.just utube galaxy R!

  • It doesn't seem to b a graphics lag, it's more likely a problem of loading maps

  • @acharad Of course. It's always the same problem when a game is not optimized.

Just like the ps3 version of Bayonetta.

  • @acharad By the way, if you watch carefuly, you will see that it is also far from perfect on the LG. Once the big studios will get interested in the android platform, Gameloft will slowly disappear. Wait for the sgs2 version of need for speed... At least EA knows the meaning of optimization. :)

  • I play this game on Desire HD and it looks very nice without bags :D

  • @JeniaSepa Good for you. No, seriously. That's great.

Last time i checked, there were still no gs2 version...

    And no bags either... :D

  • didnt know ps3's run osX

  • @69fuzzynutz Why, you thought Sony developed it????

Sorry, they wouldn't know how to do such things...

  • ps3 system is a mac os. :)

My gs2 is overclocked at 1.5 ghz and trust me, in daily use and for games, i see the point.

  • @tetsuokenpachi PS3 is a Linux Os, do some research on Unix kid...

  • @jordman2001 Nonono... It's possible to install linux on it but that isn't the default os.... KID???

No need to be offendent, you know...

  • besides tegra 2 tablets with custom kernels have been overclocked to 1.6 ghz per core

  • Mac are pc's (low spec decent os). the reason ps3 games cost so much is because it uses a ibm cell processor which is hard to optimse code for with a compiler (they been trying for ages). i like the sgs2 but a dual core in a phone i cant see the point my sgs1 with gingerbread is fast enough.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, and the ps3 is a mac... That's why a ps3 game is 8 times an xbox360 game in terms of production cost. Which also explains why the ps3 only gets straight ports buggy and not optimised. The 360 is a PC... So you understand? I got nothing against nvidia or any tegra device. Only, now, the gs2 is still by far the best device available.

  • If your really keen on the exynos google "odroid" and look for the hardkernel, honeycomb need not apply

  • @69fuzzynutz Very interesting. Too bad it isn't a phone. Yet, 750 US$??

But I ain't obsessed with the exynos. I'm very glad that they finally introduce PC components to the android platform. Most game studios are now developping for PC. Mobile phones including PC components are a blessing. Only, it isn't gonna bear fruits just yet. I believe we'll need to wait a bit longer. Until then, I'll still recommend an Exynos device... Probably for 8 to 9 months... :)

  • @tetsuokenpachi

i looked into it tegra 3 is being released in tablets the end of this year (quad core cpu, faster gpu), google "tegra 2 die" and look for anandtech article. Dungeon defenders (tegra hd) is being ported across major console/pc platforms. standard android benchmarks dont apply to the tegra ive got a sgs 1 its only slightly better in android benchmarks but has a few desktop tricks up its sleeve. i think nvidia will start being standard

  • @69fuzzynutz Thanks, I'll take a look. :)

About benchmarks, they're not reliable. Some benchmarks are giving better results on the Iphone while you can actually see that it's much slower. As for the exynos, the fps results are meaningless. It's limited to 60 fps max. That's why the tegra 2 devices are getting better results.

  • what people dont realise is the tegras based on a geforce gpu not a triangle shifter stuff like dungeon defense and the stuff in the pipeline are direct ports of pc xbox and ps3 games.

  • ive got a iphone and a tegra tablet

  • watch?v=YhA0cbu1BxI

Here is the iphone version so I hope that you don't think that it looks because you've only seen it on tegra. And if you do, you should think again. :)

  • heres something coming out soon on a tegra2

    watch?v=sjHpFeAMrtg

  • I dont think the standard benchmarking (triangle shifting/fill rates) will mean much to the tegra2 i think its more of desktop gpu and that nvidia have been a little sneaky to get in with the nvidia optimised games. Sure chainfire3d works for them but its a compatibility opengl layer and some tegra specific stuff is probably removed

  • And the screen won't be superamoled plus. More facts? It can not shoot videos in 1080 p... Lolololol!

  • And it will only be released in certain regions cause they only release it due to a slow production of exynos. lolololololololololol!!!!!

Takes longer to produce the finnest technology...

  • And I just checked. Actually, the sgs2 gt i9103 is slower, thicker, the camera is only 5 megapixels, heavier... The only advantage is that it is cheaper. Lol

  • Comment removed

  • The benchmarks are detecting the exynos as a single core. And you my friend, are an impudent fool. So go post your shit elsewhere.

  • Lol! Funny cause you know nothing, man. You want facts, take fpse on a Galaxy s 2 flashed with froyo 2.2.1 and with then with 2.3.3. You will see that it is much faster with froyo. The current build of gingerbread is not even taking advantage of the exynos. Lolololol!!!

  • Why is everyone making excuses plain and simple tegra is king galaxy s2 is a great device but no one is making games optimized for it so what's the point

  • ok thank you for information. But i buy it in Android Market. Why gameloft don't work this optimization on the best phone ? i am now on level 34 lol

  • Comment removed

  • LOLOLOL!!! Hilarious!!! This game hasn't been released for the sgs 2 and you're surprised because it doesn't run well??? What's surprising is that it works!!!

You guys should be patient cause the SGS2 is by far the best phone available. Much better than any tegra2 device. Just give it some time. It's the iphone 5 killer at least 6 months before its release. Time will make things clear. ;D

  • @tetsuokenpachi By then, the next processors generation has appear. Actually, SGS2 is just a catching up device or rather, the last model for this generation. Samsung know best that it only a little better than LG O2X.

People are simply overpaying when you could simply get a 5x faster Tegra processors at the same price. Yes, some game works, so what? No android device has yet give you the smoothest enjoyment. Don't be the victim of the soon-to-be obsolete generation.

  • @proyb2 Haha! Ok, first, no tegra device is faster than the sgs2. Second, if you want to see the difference between an optimized game and a non optimized one, check out the difference between the first release of gtracing on galaxy s2 and the latest one. Night and day. If they never do what it takes to optimize their games properly, it's not a matter of device. Gameloft is simply one of the worst company i've ever seen and i've been a gamer for 24 years.

  • @tetsuokenpachi have you heard of the galaxy R? its the tegra version of the galaxy s2 & it destroys it in benchmarks & fps. so do some real factual research before talking & im not talking fanboy research. look for the facts remember galaxy s2 isnt emotionally attached to you, which for some reason you have for "it" so haha! ok, no exynos 4210 device is faster than any tegra with 1gig ram & gingerbread, only time tegra2 loses is when it has 512mb ram, froyo 2.2 & a qHD screen, look it up.

  • @jay33011211 You'll have to explain what is fan boy research. Cause i've googled "i9103 benchmark" and i haven't found any. And since you're a retard, I'll say it again. I got nothing against nvidia (Assuming you know who they are...). And if the Tegra chipset was better than the exynos, I would have bought a Tegra device. Cheers, bum. :D

  • @jay33011211 And another one for those who are mad about facts... :)

Even though they have a very nice relationship with nvidia, Microsoft still chose to equip their latest winmobile with... Wait for it... THE EXYNOS!!!! Not the nvidia tegra, even though the Exynos is more expensive and takes longer to produce... So you see, ask for more and i'll give you more. :DDDD

  • @jay33011211 Lol in terms of fps (framerate) the Mali is better than Nvidia. Also Gingerbread and Froyo don't really change much in benchmark, me myself as a developer knows. Tegra 2 is nothing but a overated shiz. They only say Tegra can bring graphics and shiz while the other devices are running the games fine using Chainfire.

  • @ThisLadChanny I used chainfire on my SG1 & games render@ 16 bits & less details *less triangles/poly's* nothing like the real thing.froyo does make a big difference in games since the memory is managed more efficiently.utube how the galaxy R got higher scores than the SG2 & how every other phone they pitted against the sg2 always had less ram, older OS or had a higher res screen.finally they reviewed a phone with same specs as gs2 but with a tegra soc & it blew the exynos away@ just 1 ghz.

  • @jay33011211 Maybe you don't know but Tegra is a more optimised chip than Exynos for Android and not only that Samsung has included its own Android sources with it. But in terms of framerate the Mali GPU is better than Tegra by quite a margin (All framerate benchmark). Also keep in mind Exynos is capped at 60fps, so its score for benchmark should be alot more. Froyo isn't really much of a difference along with the RAM you just suggested. Even the SGX540 is nearly on par with Tegra.

  • @jay33011211 Also if you search on GSMarena for the benchmark of Galaxy Z, it only beats IT in Quadrant without a framerate capp for some reason, whereas Galaxy S2 is capped at 60fps. You can easily see that it averages at 2d around 20fps, 3d 1st 35fps 2nd 100fps and 3rd 15fps. Whereas Mali is 60fps in all of them.

  • @jay33011211 The Exynos is can run detailed 3d in 1080p at 60 fps in stereoscopique 3d. Benchmarks mean nothing at all. You can get better scores on an iphone 4 while you can clearly see that it is actually much slower. By the way, the galaxy s 3 quad core will be out beginning of 2012. Let the tegra 2 rest in peace, will you...

  • @proyb2 And one more thing, a smartphone is not only used for gaming...

And in every possible way, the sgs2 is much much faster. I could go on about all the advantages such as "The galaxy s2 is the thinnest smartphone available, etc..."

But in the end, you guys know that the sgs2 will be the best seller for the whole coming year.

And for those who are still talking about tegra, I'd like to tell them that I'm playing tegra games on my sgs2. And they're smoother than on the lg whatever. Cheers

  • Comment removed

  • @tetsuokenpachi As a software developer, I understood your perspective. So let wait for the next generation mobile to be out then, only then games can be optimized much better than today.

Being best seller is meaningless to you and us anyway. Whatever, you are comparing Froyo and GB, we still need a fair benchmarking.

  • @proyb2 I'll give you a thumb up for your post. I agree.

And I'll be honest, I got nothing against nvidia. Including pc components in an android device is the good way to go. It's finally turning into a war PC-MAC and you must know that apple can't win that one. Just as it would be foolish to think that they can keep up with so many manufacturers. I'd like to see them going down... lol

In terms of cost, it will most probably make it cheaper to release a soft on an android device after that. :)

  • @proyb2 Since you are a software developer, I have a couple of questions. Why make a "next generation" quad core phones when there aren't even games showing the full potential of dual core? I mean Iphones game "infinity blade 1 and 2" has amazing graphics! But android aren't getting games like that. Would be nice to get an answer really!

  • Comment removed

  • @eDme and yet both are currently in development with the ability to export to Flash player 11, allow more 3D contents to reach wider audience.

Other reason why blade 1 and 2 are only exclusive on the iOS is Returns On Investment since most gamers on Android are not willing to purchase, some may choose to pirate it. iOS ecosystem is to protect their livehood when those startup agency cannot afford to lost their revenue and things work flawlessly on iOS.

It's all depend on the business decision.

  • @proyb2 Let me get this fright. You're saying that with those dual core phones, we can have games with better graphics than infinity blade and shadowgun? Cause if that is the case, I would buy my GN. Do you think Galaxy Nexus is worth it? Or wait for quad core phones? Since google phones get's the latest update all the time?

  • @tetsuokenpachi After all, getting the right mobile phone is based on our personal preference, desire, capability, budget and what you want to do with it, not what it can do. Glad to share from my experience in marketing as well. Cheer!

  • Sorry i don't have sgs1...

No lg optimus 2x is perfect on this video, and sgs2 big laggy.

  • @mimstyle its lagging on ur sgs2 not because of the device

its because game loft have bad optimazation for the game on sgs2

  • The LG optimus 2x is a bit laggy because it only has 512 mo of RAM, compared to the 1 Go of Ram that the SGS2 has.

If you can get hold of an Atrix, it would be cool to see the performance of Order and Chaos on it.

Nice vid though. Keep it up. :)

  • hi man i have a request

    do u have samsung galaxy s1 (gti9000)

if u have please do a video so i can compare it with my device i have samsung galalxy s gti9000 and the game lags on my 2.3.4 custome JVQ and other people who i have asked they told me it dosent lag on their sgs1

so please if u have sgs1 can u make a video so i can compare

    thanks in advance :)
