That's not bad. You are using your own interpretation, and in your own way you are bringing this music 'alive'. So much better than many on here where all you hear are notes. This is actually a very evocative and emotional masterpiece. Thanks for posting.
This piece was my 1st exposure to Durfule, played by his wife on a recording made at the National Shrine in Washington DC. You can now get it on CD through Gothic Records. I saw her play it in person at the Crystal Cathedral some 20 years ago, and that was thrilling.
ohh i see you do something i do,too sometimes, even if i don´t want it.
when you go up in the pedal with your right foot you use sometimes first your toes and then your heel...i don´t know if it is better or of you do that conscious.
This is undoubtedly my favourite Durufle piece and one of the best performances I've seen/heard. What a wonderful frolic this is! I'm fascinated by pedal work and this young man has a nice light pedal, not heavy and muddy like others I've heard; perhaps of the French school? Still trying to get our church organist (2 yrs of organ in France) to do this one day for postlude. Ah well.....
Forget the orgel! It is not the organ - if I sat down to play this one no one would even bother to walk across the street to hear it. But this man......!
Possibly Durufle's greatest work this one - written for his old friend Alain - who was an equally talented organist, killed crossing a bridge during the 2nd world war (I think). The wonderful prelude which was not played here and which goes with the fugue echoes of "Litanies", perhaps Alain's most famous work. Well played.
Beautiful - lovely playing, lovely registrations, lovely video. I think this is amazingly moving the way the fugue gently unfolds. Fantastic, all-too-rare genuinely musical playing. Thank you.

Great playing - so much music from seemingly effortless playing. You should be heard far beyond Estonia!

In case you haven't yet been informed - the organ is a Rieger-Kloss, and is located in the old St. Nicholas Church (now a museum) in Tallinn, Estonia

Oh, The beautiful Durufle Fugue. (Heard your other video of the Prelude.)
You sensitively portray Durufle's love for and tribute to dear friend Alain. Thank you.
