My favorite song with a steel guitar... These guys are so underrated, it makes me sad in some ways but glad in other ways. Music seems to lose it meaning when it becomes mainstreamed... You can see so much passion when the lead singer sings. I mean his head shakes when he hits those notes and I swear at 1:35 in the song he's crying... I love passionate music and this is definitely one of my top favorites=)

@lodie311 He breaks sticks A LOT when playing, he has a very aggressive style. When I saw them play life the guy easily went through a couple dozen drum sticks during a set. I'm guessing he can tell when they crack instantly, and he's just got enough practice to grab another one in a heart beat :)

Dredg are among the rare bands that sound better live than on record. Which is saying a lot since their recordings are mostly amazing. I have seen them live 4 times all different tours. The songs sound more raw but the vocals are always spot on.

They are just such good musicians and have a catalog to draw from now that spans over 13 years of albums, even though they never play any really old stuff.

I saw them at the Trocedero in Philadelphia last Saturday. They were awesome on stage and then they beers with us at the bar upstairs. Gavin screwed up the opening to this song and told the audience to boo him then he said "Good, I'll try harder next time." Love a band with a sense of humor.

Used to live in SF. So pissed I never got to see these guys live. But I know it will eventually happen. One of the most innovative bands of our time. With every album I buy, I find myself liking each song just as much as I did the last; if not more. That is a rear thing to find in a band. A great group of guys as well I must say!!!
