As a child was born in the mid 80's, I would have to say that Kids Incorporated was the GLEE of my generation.

I wonder if this song was Martika's way in getting record companies attention by saying "Give Me a Shot". It must have worked because next thing you know, she released her first album and scored herself a big number one hit song "Toy Soldiers".

Actually, technically the new years special was her last performance, but it aired before this, but they taped it after this. They made sure it was a semi-send off for her without actually saying it.

I know that Wendy was a very talented dancer. And she has a pretty good singing voice as well. I was more or less talking about the main kids, and Rahsaan was a great dancer too. They just needed to teach the other ones to dance a little more on stage that's all.

Yes Martika was very talented. Rahsaan was a good dancer too. I wish there were more moments where they let he and Martika do dance numbers together. I loved watching the both of them dance.

What a great show this was. I'm 22 and I'm so glad to have been a part of a generation that grew up watching this show. It is a shame that they don't have shows like this anymore.
