Dude, you're awesome! I did this exact same thing, but I'm only in high school, so I didn't build the ENTIRE circuit from scratch.I used a very small r/c car as the transmitter and receiver. A comment from dylaninLG said it would be nice if it was protected, just put the receiver in a plastic box, and run 3-5ft alligator clips out of the box to connect the wire! The one I built worked amazingly well during fourth of July. It's rather crude, but I made it myself. Would you like to see it?
very cool man. bun not exactly very effective for say, igniting fire works? it would be cool if you could figure out how to protect the circutry and still maintain fuction. but still very cool.
Bah, stop hating, anyone who really wants to make an electronic remote detonator can learn how to do it in a couple of hours. it's not going to be a video like these that will move people to do so.
If at all possible, could I purchase this exact circuit from you or a replica thereof....I have tried the electroniclessons site listed but see no way to obtain it. Please reply as soon as possible
@vaargon I don't give out schematics. And regardless....Towelheads? You want muslims to stop blowing up your troops, get your troops out of their Country.
@patrickikis im not saying that so be an ass or be rude, i'm saying i was already was messing with stuff like this and messing with the car my grandfather gave me around the time i graduated from elementary. i didn't mean for you to take that as a remark.
Patty boy you rock. I just wanted to point out that the receiver does not ignite :P, The nichrome doesn't either haha. It just gets hot. But hopefully whatever you are detonating does.
Goddamn it, Jud. Don't clutter up my wall. You know what I meant. I didn't do a double take, which I sould have. You are right about the receiver lol. And you can make the nichrome ignite, just not with the crappy batteries I used.
Just saw this, pretty sweet man!

@vaargon Most "terrorists" as you call them , are very intelligent and usually have engineering or chemistry degrees.

Wow
You must be an engineer with a million dollars. You must have already been on the cover of Macleans!
This was a project I did for fun the afternoon of my graduation. Don't be so inconsiderate when writing on other people's walls.

can i see the wireless transmitter schematic? are you using a microcontroller or just regular components. congrats on the graduation.
skierplaterandy 3 years ago
You can do it with a PICAXE and a RF transmiter-receiver modules. It's very easy hehehe!

lmfao i love that, the irony, "I just graduated" and your using what you learned your first day out to destruct things, i love it lol
