What Does That Have To Do With Anythinq ! :|

  • With all due respect I know you have good intentions. But Hawaiians are Native to Hawaii not America.

  • I am Anishinaabek Ojibwe and I strongly believe that Hawaiians are Native to America!

  • I like the music at the end. Lovely

  • next time you go vegas go to this place called "aloha kitchen" its close to the airport i dont remember what street but its by unlv.. anyways.. the owners/workers are straight off the boat from i think korea..u can barely understand what theyre saying cuz their accent's so strong, but their selling "hawaiian" food instead of their own food cuz theres such a strong demand for "hawaiian" products. theres tons of places like that through the mainland.. and none are hawaiian owned either!

  • there should be a trademark on hawaiian food as well. anyone who's been to the mainland has seen the L&Ls and tons of other food places calling their food "hawaiian". theres 10x more L&Ls in california then in hawaii and hilo hatties & abc stores all selling not hawaiian food or products but the hawaiian name/culture. and the haoles eat that shiz up! hawaiians should benefit from their culture NOT the filipino or haole or other ethnicities saying something is hawaiian to make a buck!

  • there definately should be a trademark to protect and ensure hawaiian art. makes me wonder why we didnt think of this sooner!

  • as a kanaka maoli and an artist, i believe that a trademark should be implemented because it will help to promote our cultural heritage.

  • We don't need to have aspects of our culture commodified even more than it what it already is. This promotion leads to destruction. The video points out the devaluing of the product, all b/c there's competition to sell what's vital/sacred in our culture. I can't find fault in trademark as negative but the reasoning to promote or preserve the culture is an excuse. It's odd that people want to predict that we're dying out. That would mean that none of us produces a new generation.
