Well, first off, goth was part of the punk age, it was(going by your info, I am not sure) a tribe, but when the punk age died off the goth sub culture survived. And actually, gothic in general makes no sense. It was a building style. I don't have to fight with you, and I don't have to prove to you if I am or not goth. The 'true real thing' of goths do exist, they are a group of people who hang out, who were not accepted by others. It has grown to something more than that.
