Pretty sad that the idiot Zann consortium has to fight both the Empire AND the Alliance. The Alliance do deserve all the help they can get. Zann Consortium deserve nothing. Especially not this Imperial feat of engineering. Ah well, the future Sovereign-class SSD would make short work of this thing were it allowed to be mass-produced and if any even reached beyond the production line.

I seriously wish that they could guard their ships internally a bit better though >.>. Mind, if the Empire wanted to capture a Consortium ship under construct, they'd probably be even more efficient than the Consortium at taking it. No need to capture though, they have their own :D!

@wyoboy01 Oh yeah, there are various mods that allow access to it I'm sure. Try g00gle searching 'sweaw filefront' and there you have all the mods you need. Another search for mods would be 'moddb sweaw'. You can of course substitute sweaw with Star Wars: Empire at War, but w/e.

Also, if you use tactics such as fighter attacks, you can delay the Aggressor long enough so that the Eclipse comes back online. Then just click the button and BAM! One less Super Star Destroyer >:)

Reminds me of exactly how I play that mission, there was one time I managed to blow up the SSD with the Eclipse. It always appeared white to me, not the Eclipse, the other SSD, the Eclipse is always black. It's like a giant stealth ship.

The eclipse doesn't have the power to destroy a planet like the death stars could, however, it's superlaser was capable of penetrating a planets crust and rendering that planet a volatile place in which in was impossible to live one. The only thing that could destroy the eclipse was a "force storm" which luke and leia took control of after commandeering it from the new palpaten (sp?).

@piratedude333 You get the eclipse briefly during the last level of Zaan Consortium campaign. There is a mod you can download though for Galactic Conquest and skirmish mode.

@piratedude333 SSD (not eclipse) you get in the empire conquest mode, tech lvl 5, it costs 150000 (i believe, it's a lot) and it's Darth Vader (get a big fleet for it, it's not so tough)

The eclipse is only accesible (without mods) in the campaign of the expansion for this game, it is on the last level and during the campaign it is still under construction its laser is the single most powerful beam in the galaxy next to the death star's you get it halfway through the final mission and (spoilers) get to blow up a SSD (Super Star Destroyer) however the beam stops working until the SSD is alreay mostly destroyed (BRING BOMBERS MAN) ok im running out of space hope that anwsered Qstn

You start out with a shuttle and a ton of ships of your choosing and assault the Eclipse without actually attacking it with the alliance at your side. this video skipped the part where you have to battle past the defenses and capture the eclipse. at this point, the alliance turns against you, initially planning to destroy the eclipse. the Executor arrives sometime during the battle, and the superlaser from the eclipse malfuntions. destroy the executor, the superlaser works, kill,win

oh yeah, I remember. It's not the executor, it's the Annihilator. The commander of the ship is Admiral Garnn, I believe. Not sure about the captain's name, but I know for sure that the ship is the Annihilator.
