Marine Military Police have a minimum height requirement of 5'7". Not really sure why. I was an MP and knew many guys below that, guess they got waivers. Their height had nothing to do with how well the performed at their job.

i remember i had this arrogant bastard of a teacher once who was freaking tall and scoffed at the idea of short cops trying to opprehend him (he didnt do anything illegal just in part of a joke) but that did make me think, how do short cops manage that? im sure being well versed in jiujitsu or judo can help but cop work isn't any dojo spar
I'm below the 5'5" height, successfully completed the Acad., received a trophy from the FOP and totally agree with the information given in this video.

I have done physcial labor jobs and that has been my obsrvation.
They let women become cops.

Thank you for the confidence boost. I am a bit under your height. I have thought about being a cop but my real dream is to be a pro soccer player.

Anyone over 5'6" really has no business calling themselves short.
You would not stand out in a crowd, nor would it affect your life much.
