They may have the same amount of tar when you blow out, but think about it this way. There are people who smoke 1-2 packs of cigarettes a day. I don't know of anyone that would smoke the equivalent of weed every day. I'd say on average a frequent weed smoker, smokes anywhere between 4-8 marijuana joints or equivalent a day. There's definitely a huge difference in the numbers when you think about it.

alright i am a weed/cigarette smoker, and all ive come to say smoke inside your lungs in general is terrible for you, its not the weed (thc) thats dangerous, just the smoke. even with the dankest bud, and a glass bowl, your still inhaling smoke. the reason you cough is cause your body doesnt like it, not telling anyone to quit smoking bud, but its not healthy, its just not as bad as cigs cause your not smoking a pack of bud a day.

There are many many different strains of marijuana that can have characteristics that greatly differ. Some of these characteristics include how the plant is grown and I don't think it's possible or fair to put a number on the amount of fertilizer these plants needs to thrive. Also, if weed were legalized it more then likely wood be flushed properly since companies would be competing to make the best product. However, it isn't. This is why you should use a bong that filters the toxins and tar.

If you smoking nug that wasn't grown outdoors it's getting all kinds of differnt chemicals dumped into it 2-3 times a week for the majority of it's life, even when flushed they are simply part of the plant now. And all bong water does is filter THC, not toxins THC is a clear gas that you would not be able to see at all if it where vaporized without burning any foilage. When you take a bong rip your inhaling greater volumes of smoke that is wure to reach every nookandcranny of your poor lungs

Those brown spots are actually burn marks from the hot smoke. When you keep it in your mouth it stays warm enough to make a mark on the tissue. But when you inhale it into your lungs it cools it down alot so thats why there is no mark on the inhale side of the chart.

The tissue only turns brown because of the heat from the smoke. Not the tar, and weed doesnt even have tar only cigarettes do. You can look at the blood of a long time weed smoker vs a long time cigarette smoker, the Cigarette smoker's blood will have large traces of tar in their blood while the weed smoker has healthy blood. I can. However, I'm too lazy to find where I read it. Marijuana does contain tar because the combustion of any plant produces tar. The page I read stated that good marijuana product contains little to no tar. Beside that, a bong or vaporizer can filter out the remaining tar. So, smoke safe. keep those lungs healthy. Which by the way, THC acts as a bronchodilator. So, for you people with asthma, just a nice tip.

To Apotheosys27, i believe weed should be legal but wiht restriction (i.e no high with alchohal, over limit etc) but you have to understand even if it doesnt have tar anything you burn will have Carbon Dioxide inhaled and you could get a chance of lung cancer but not as much as cigs with those 400 carcinogens.
