  • I got a kick out of reading Claremont's " Uncanny X-Men " stories back in the late 70s with the introduction of the Phoenix, the StarJammers, Weapon Alpha, etc. Dave Cockrum created the look of second genesis issue Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, etc.

The 70s was the golden age of Marvel Comics putting out giant size issues, giant size annuals, Fireside Books, pocket books, and several B/W magazine titles.

  • His run on X-Men is fuckin legendary.

  • leave willow alone. give us a new, original story

  • Met him at Bristol Comic Expo, what a nice bloke nothing was too much trouble wasn't sure if he lives in the UK or America. It's not till you go through his back catalog you realize what important comic's he has written.

  • I've been reading the X-Men Forever series and it's been pretty good. Chris Claremont is indeed a legend such a good writer. The Shadow war books were pretty cool too. I always loved Willow so hope they do a sequel now some day.
