Maybe it would be good for you to evaluate what Obama has accomplished so far... which is nothing. The American economy is taking a double dip this week and in no way has Obama tried to cut spending, in fact, quite the opposite he's created a huge financial crisis by refusing to pass a budget in 2 years, a budget that's mandatory to be passed every year.

In addition to that, they made even more money during WWII from the industry boom, again, and the shared trade with ally forces.

Democrats need to stop being pansies. Here is a scenario; a 1000 republicans are together watching a play, a republican gets out a knife and kills one of the actors. Cutting spending in a recession is the dumbest thing ever. What got the US out of the great depression? Oh yea, WW2, a gargantuan wartime spending binge that put people to work and created thousands of new industries from the technologies that government funded research discovered.
