  • Did they use the m43 jackets in Normandy?

  • @Liveoutloudscript no i don't think so. the 3rd division tested them out at anzio, but they didn't get to france until fall 1944

  • Just wondering what is ur all time favorite ww2 US uniform jacket or shirt?

  • Design wise, it is the m43. You look at most modern military jackets and you'll notice that they are for the most part designed like the m43. This is due to it's effectiveness. Now for my favorite jacket in my collection, it would be an m41 with Air Corps HQ patch on the left, staff sgt. stripes, and a 3in ATC patch on the chest. She's a looker!

  • it called a garrison cap

  • There's no technical name for it, envelope cap, garrison cap, flight cap, cunt cap, etc. They're all the same...

  • You've really done some research! Great collection. By the way, do you know a chris falvo from kelowna BC? He said he had a part in your old Thousand yard movie

  • how much do the german ss helmets cost

  • With decals, about $900+.

  • i have my dads jacket with the 15th patch he was in the ball turret in a B-17.

  • OoOoOo I mostly collect army air corps (it doesn't help that I'm in the Air Force). You should post it in a video. That would be sweet!

  • Cloth items can still be seen at good prices throught the country. Lots of WWI and WWII cloth gear can be found at surplus stores and camping stores.

  • Well you collect US - Gear, And I collect British gear... But this is awesome collection!! OMG you lucky bastard!! haha And yes... It is getting more and more expensive...

  • Whoa, an original M41 Jacket? How much did you have to pay for that? I be it wasn't cheap, they run for over $200 in decent shape! You've got some really nice equipment there, keep it up!

  • I technically gave about $80 for it. I traded a 1918 dated mills Springfield belt for it. My friend easily let it go because of the small size 34L. I fits me though.

  • Was the cartridge belt the M-1918 (9 pocket) version? I'm glad the '41 fits you though. You've got some really nice stuff there man.

  • No, it was regular 10 pocket, my good friend had the modified varient though. Thanks for the comment!

  • Ahh, I see. Thank you for showing us your stuff!

  • haha can you identify something for me?

    i bought it on ebay

i dont know how to send an email though

  • hummm... try to send a picture of video anyway you can, a youtube vid perhaps. But if you do figure email out, mine is

    happiness_ 82nd@comcast,net

  • Recently i just bought a real ww2 hbt shirt at a swap meet for 10 bucks from a lady who had no idea what she was selling. I could tell it was a hbt by the button. But my hbt shirt has a really light green color. I dont know what pattern it is.

  • Again just a picture to my email address

    happiness_82nd@comcast,net

I should be able to identify it. They way you described it, it sounds like a first pattern but the light shade could just be from shading. So just send me some pics and I'd be happy to identify! If you have anything else that needs identifying feel free to send a pic!

  • also infantry pins and u.s. pins and some other ones i dont know wat they are

  • sweet! Keep up the collecting!

  • i have a tank destroyer patch, christian patch, black hawk, commanding officer,airforce,75infantry,3rd tank batt. and lots of lt. pins and one captain pin

  • Really nice stuff, man. I'm way jealous.

  • Well this is an ego boost if I ever saw one. Haha, nice tho ;)

  • PRIVATE REIBEN HAD THOSE TROUSERS

  • im pretty sure i broke that one

  • I'm sp proud to live in east germany (former one GDR) I got tons of NVA (Nationale Volksarmee) stuff.

  • nice, nice, nice, nice, nice.
