How to solve the 3x3x3 rubiks cube- part 3 (top cross and finishing top face)

i have it where you have the head lights but i don't have the 2 peaces under them on is under the left but the one on the right is on the right side of the cube so how do i make it turn into the head lights

to solve the top face, if you have the strieght line you dont have to do

f, u, r, u ', r ', f '

its much easier to go streight from the line to the cross by doing

f, r, u, r ', u ', f '

it saves you a move

...at around 6 minutes in the vid i had 2 corners missing the last one, I did it and ended up with headlights with yellows in wrong spot, did it again and now all four corners are gone...

Try doing this algorithm (F R T RI TI FI) When you have the dot. It should turn into and L like shape, or sometimes a 2 x 2 sqaure on the edge of the top. Make sure the L is facing the left at the top left corner on the top or sometimes the full 2x2 square then repeat the algorithm. This should make it an ----- Shape. Repeat the algorithm again to get the cross. If you start off with the ----- just do the same algorithm, same with if you start out with the L or the 2x2 square.

The F R T RI TI FI takes longer when you have the L... if you have the backwards L in the top left do F T R TI FI RI and it will go straight to the cross

if you do it correctly the dot goes to line, line goes to backwards L. the dot can be held any way, the line needs to be horizontal, and the L needs to be in the top left. also make sure you are doing F,T,R,Ti,Ri,Fi

the 'l' actually turns into the line and then the line turns into the cross
