  • Each of us will be judged according to our own faith, the faith of another will not be credited to anyone. It was Abraham's own faith which God regarded as righteous, even though he was not perfect. Trusting God (which is Biblical faith) is always pleasing to God. Imputed righteousness is an evil, false and unjust doctrine.

  • just stop sinning ehhh...? let me know how that goes for you... and just as soon as you think you are without sin, read: 1 Jn 1:10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." Of course we are to strive towards holiness, but the fact that we never will be perfect is EXACTLY why we need "perfect righteousness". Its not adding to the gospel, its the whole counsel of God. There are other passages in the scripture besides Matt 25 that speak to salvation.

  • It looks like imputation is contrary to Jesus teaching over and over. Also, why do we need perfect righteousness, in addition to having our sins forgiven? This is adding to the Gospel! The teaching of Jesus in Mat. 25 must give you conniptions, pluck out your eye, why! Just "accept Jesus" don't pluck your eye out! That is NOT what HE said! STOP SINNING is what Jesus said, every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down/into the fire. Obey the Gospel!
