I'm was born and raised in Chicago and the Lovelites were very popular in Chicago since they were homegirls. Its a shame though that they were not on a bigger label that would have gave them more exposure. Back then you had a lot of fly by night labels with some real good soul singers that never got heard by the masses. Thank God for youtube.
