I think this was the best Batman movie and Nolan is makin the best Batman trilogy, since he is tellin his own story how Bruce became Batman, dont get me wrong I grew up with the old Batman movies, and the animated series and I loved them. The Tim Burton Batmans were amazing, but when I saw the newer ones I was breath takin. His voice isnt the best but he is a great Batman and they have the best Joker and Commissioner Gordon. Thats my opinion.

Still prefer the original Tim Burton Batman & the animated series but this movie was excellent. Heath's performance was amazing. Two face was poorly introduced which wort of let down the end of the film I thought. Hope they bring Batman back to his roots and have him be more of a detective next time.

He let Law and Farrel and Depp replace him because they did know him personally. He knew Ryan Gosling as well and they never did a movie together, Gosling even wore a ribbon as a tribute to Heath at either the Globes or the Oscars(can't remember which) after Heath died. Christopher Nolan is a Fucking genius, when he was contracted to warner bros i pissed my pants. He brought his use of the floored protagonist from Momento and his independent films into Hollywood studio, and explicitly a Film such as Batman that has historically thrived with a hegemonically masculine protagonist/superhero. Nolan turns these characteristics of hollywood studio protagonists in the action genre completely on it's head, love it.
