i am very good vs frost mages...any mages except ice mages i can rape, np...even against frost mages, they need to use cold sap to beat a warrior...what u have to remember is anticipate what happens next...the only thing is hard to anticipate is if they will fake cast/spell lance ur spell reflect, its like rock paper scissors if u guess right you can win...using blade storm early is good too...if u manage to escape, you can mount up and waste a bit of time and wait for blade storm to come back

The video is from 2009, they couldn't do the "jumping-thingy" whatever it's called and piercing howl didn't help that much since the warrior is slowed as well (90% during the fight). So yea, the mage could've done the 3-7 yard weakness. /watch?v=48K_8EyyGwc&feature=r­elated

intercept and charge (as I've heard and am to lazy to check) share the same cd, so this no longer works. As a warrior back in BC, I only lost to frost mages. This is an arcane mage and doesn't have nearly as much snare potential as a frost mage. Also he does measly damage for an arcane mage in the first place.

This frost mage never uses ice lance when he could be; while waiting for freeze/ice bolt opportunities. In Cata, ice lance is more than a jab or potshots. They do really good damage esp when in DF.

@jay1201x ofc they can. stance dance, time cooldowns, spell reflect. get a macro for def stance/spellreflect cast, use the macro late in the mages spell so that he wont cancel it with a weak ice lance or something. spellreflect a deep freeze for stun, frostbolt for the slow, pyro and AB for more dmg. but CC spells are the most clever to reflect

@Aliceinchains1234 Not exactly, in the beginning, if a warrior charges and the mage blinks, then warrior intercepts, mage can trinket from the stun and start cc from there, a good way to make the warrior blow charge/intercept fast. But still the normal way is better imo.
