i don't get it... doesn't he just say 'Ten times more than last time' clicks? So if I start with 1 click, I would have to click 1 + 10 = 11 clicks for level 2, and 11 + 10 = 21 clicks for level 3, then 31, 41, 51.........??

the lack of common sence of people trying to do maths is funny, stop avoiding finding out the total number of clicks to cmplete the game because your calculator doesnt have afuntion to work it out and use your head, assuming that 1 is 1 click then 2 would be 10 + 1 = 11 and 3 would be 100 + 2(11) = 111 and so on, this meens its all the ones and to complete this game it would take 111111111111111111111111111111­111111111111111111111111111111­111111111111111111111111111111­1111111111 clicks

Few things: 1) Register by putting in a username and password. If the username isn't taken, it becomes yours

2) Passwords are not encrypted. I see them. Don't pick one you don't want viewed.

3) Clicks are detected anywhere in the browser

4) Updates are fairly common. Sorry.

5) If you don't want highlighted text, click in the chatbox

6) Touch screens don't always work

7) LEARN TO CLICK!

I mean it's understandable if it's connected by actual widely known event (like announcing new Mortal Combat) but most of the time it's just random ideas appearing out of nowhere in the heads of multiple people at the same time.

If it were actually made, the game as I describe it would actually be unplayable, because even if level 1 was 1 click, level 100 would be 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,­000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00­0,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,­000,000,000,000,000,000,000,00­0,000,000,000 clicks alone, not counting each previous levels. A different algorithm would be needed if this were really coded.

@crapshotvideo You said "ten times more" not "ten times more times", so in fact to finish level 100 you'd only have to click Σ(1+10n) = Σ1 + 10Σn = 100 + 10(100)(101)/2 = 50600 times or so, give or take a couple hundred because I'm not sure if I got my indices right.

@crapshotvideo Got to beg to differ there, mon ami. That number would seem to imply an exponential increase (i.e. "if you click ten times "the amount" you did last time, the number goes up by one"). What you say in the video is "if you click ten times more than you did last time, the number goes up by one," and while that could be construed to mean "multiplied" the point that you use "more" makes "Times" a noun, meaning repetitions. That'd make it an additive progression. SEMANTICS LOOPHOLE!

Assuming there are 5 'starter clicks' which don't add to your number going up, but count toward of your total clicks it takes 23713 clicks to reach 24 from 1. 23713 - 2530(the adding 10s) that's 21188, which divided by 23 gives the clicks from 1 to 2 as 921. Therefore the clicks from 1 - 100 are 139694 (= 48510[the 10s] +(921 x 99) +5). With about 1 click/sec, that's 38.8 hours of 'gameplay'. I'm doubtful people will be playing > 1 month, sorry Clickquest, still, $35 ain't bad.
