But when i go to florida its the oppisite, My supra fits in and the muscle cars dont.

Lunatti voodoo series 3 cams, aluminum shaved heads that came off of a late model dirt track car and edelbrock 750 4 berrell carbs. The cams where 219 lift and 213 duration. That thing was quick but i had to sell it because of the caust to keep it up. Gas ect. I dinoed it at 473 hp @ 5,900 rpm and 541 fpt @ 4,200 rpm

@68chargerlover I just looking things at a competitive point of view. I have two cars. A 97 supra i use everyday and a 1985 hachi roku (Toyota Corrola hatchback). My corrola isnt street legal. its full weight trim striped and only sees the road at night in the mountain passes. If you where to build lets say a 440 six pack big block for drifting, its not going to last as long. Sure for daily driving there perfect but thats it. The bore and stroke is just to big to be pounding on it all the time.

Without forcing the engine, with two normal turbos and under 10 psi of boost you can get enormous numbers, and endless torque. They're simple- easy to understand engines. OF COURSE there are amazing japanese engines out there, the supra itself, with basic tools you can get those 300hp to over 400 adjusting the turbos. But then you get turbo lag, and start blowing cilinders. Both sides have their good and bad.

I mean, S2000 handles great, and mustang hasn't been anything special till 2011, and it's got a lot to improve, but in a small local track there is here, big cars, even M5s and similars, will get crushed by small cars. @sporsterchop The idea of the v8s is that you can get tons of power without a turbo. I said before that you can get over 400hp from the biturbo supra MKIV by just andusting the turbo... But turbos have advantages and problems like turbo lag, the engine suffers (the higher the boost the more heads you blow). Most V8 cars you see for sale have over 400hp with just carb and compression upgrades. And they're street legal. In a 5 litre engine, the first 500hp are almost free.

But just like the R35 which costs about 100k $ plus what you need for the 750whp, you can get a 6.1 Hemi and get about 1000 Wheel hp with a good, strong tranny and it will withstand it no problem... The you would have to spend money in the suspension of the car, but this si about power. Look it up, those 1000hp kits exist.

@sporsterchop Well, just look it up, henessey, geiger, callaway... All those makes will get a corvette for example, and not just boost the power, but make a race car for the track out of it. And they've got all sorts of prizes, there are hundreds of videos of their 250MPH vettes, or those with 700+hp, for relatively little money. Plus, power is easy to get from any engine that comes stock with turbos. But without them, those engines are worthless.
Great looking cars there, don´t understand why people have to argue with each other like little kids. In last summer I met Porsche 944 & Corvette C4 owner. We all respected our cars and found different things done better in every car. There just isn´t "ultimate car", some people just don´t get it.

Lunatti voodoo series 3 cams, aluminum shaved heads that came off of a late model dirt track car and edelbrock 750 4 berrell carbs. The cams where 219 lift and 213 duration. That thing was quick but i had to sell it because of the caust to keep it up. Gas ect. I dinoed it at 473 hp @ 5,900 rpm and 541 fpt @ 4,200 rpm

@68chargerlover I just looking things at a competitive point of view. I have two cars. A 97 supra i use everyday and a 1985 hachi roku (Toyota Corrola hatchback). My corrola isnt street legal. its full weight trim striped and only sees the road at night in the mountain passes. If you where to build lets say a 440 six pack big block for drifting, its not going to last as long. Sure for daily driving there perfect but thats it. The bore and stroke is just to big to be pounding on it all the time.

It always gets ran up to 11,000 rpm. I havennt had to do anything to it besides regulare maintnance. Same as with my supra. @68chargerlover a modified import is worth as much as a modified muscle car. there are only a handful of muscle cars that are genuinely worth money because of their rarity and racing history e.g. the australian ford falcon gt-ho phase III. shelby mustang gt350/500 and a handful others. otherwise muscle cars are overpriced and outdated but still, must admit, very very hot. reality is no muscle car (even ones in the 90's) can keep up with an import (stock v stock) on the road or track.

@sporsterchop Yeah, and Renault won the championship in 2005 and 2006, and neither Fernando alonso is the best driver nor renault is the best car make ever, nor french make the best cars in the world. That doesn't prove anything. Also, engine wise, there are derby cars destined to die with 400hp, because out of an 80's small block, with a good tune up, no enviromental restrictions, a big 4 barrel carb and tuning for high octane you can get 400hp for less than 5000$.

@sporsterchop The idea of the v8s is that you can get tons of power without a turbo. I said before that you can get over 400hp from the biturbo supra MKIV by just andusting the turbo... But turbos have advantages and problems like turbo lag, the engine suffers (the higher the boost the more heads you blow). Most V8 cars you see for sale have over 400hp with just carb and compression upgrades. And they're street legal. In a 5 litre engine, the first 500hp are almost free.

@sporsterchop I live in europe, where we've got japanese and european cars overall, and from what iv'e driven, they're inferior to european cars, also, from the american cars i've driven and the results i've seen on the local track, they're not as good as you say either. @sporsterchop Yeah... And what about super super F1 honda whatever engine? 2.8 litres short life and 700hp? How much does that cost? How much does a 1200hp supra cost to make? Power is never cheap. What i mean by free hp is that to get 500hp you have to spend more on a small V6 than on a chevy big block. A carburator and a tune up isn't expensive. Just like changing a tranny and the ECU on a japanese engine will boost the power, a V8 will do the same but ending with much more power.

@machone7I and it still street legal your v8 not + it cost more . yeah alot of engine can die after 400 hp but witch one talk about because vq35de, vq37vhr , evo eg64 and new ej25 subaru ,acura J37A4 engine DON`T and forgot alot more but with arp stud and metal headgasket the well know engines like the 1jz , 2jz ,normal rb26,VG30E can stand over 500hp no problem , the rb26 v-spec and new gtr r35 get over 750whp no problem

@sporsterchop It's easy to get power from turbocharged engines... But just like the R35 which costs about 100k $ plus what you need for the 750whp, you can get a 6.1 Hemi and get about 1000 Wheel hp with a good, strong tranny and it will withstand it no problem... The you would have to spend money in the suspension of the car, but this si about power. Look it up, those 1000hp kits exist.

@machone7I who would need of your 1000hp hemi shit? , the 1600hp supra kit cost only $30,000. the new r35 start at $69850 530 hp stock , the old 2009 Corvette ZR1 cost $105000 638hp, different of $35,150 for 108hp more with only 2wheel . new r35 at only 20psi make easily 700hp bone stock. the 400hp 2jz don`t need to open the engine to get more compression or bigger fuel supply only increase your boost by the controller because japanese 90`s law restrict it to 280hp for all sport car

@sporsterchop Well, just look it up, henessey, geiger, callaway... All those makes will get a corvette for example, and not just boost the power, but make a race car for the track out of it. And they've got all sorts of prizes, there are hundreds of videos of their 250MPH vettes, or those with 700+hp, for relatively little money. Plus, power is easy to get from any engine that comes stock with turbos. But without them, those engines are worthless.
