@asannder - In my country, the housing market bubble has not burst since it's been eroding the fiscal integrity of every citizen since the 90's. People can only think in mortgages and tax-benefits. The entire system is geared on prospects, and the prospects are bleak. Prices cannot rise any further here. But lobbying from the real estate industry keep houses from sloping into a healthy or realistic price ranges. Too many middlemen depend on prices soaring.
