as soon as Friesen scored that goal I knew the Devils were gonna win the Stanley Cup..Ducks gave it a hell of a fight in the finals but that was all Devs.
the attendance at the rock which has been 88-89 percent and this yr (as of dec 1, 2010 is at 83 percent) 06-07 the last yr of caa percent was at 74 percent
and this goal i was so happy i didnt hear the call
Study this clip carefully. Redden doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. Pretty clear at 0:15 that if Redden takes Marshall, there would be no pass to Friesen.
@leafyutube : I think it's more Karl Rachunek's fault than anything. If you watch closely, at the blue line (00:14) he releases his man (00:15) as they head down ice. At that point when the puck came into the Senators end he chases after Grant Marshall w/Redden and lets Friesen get away. I believe that had he not released Friesen and stayed w/him this would not have happened. I also think too that Havlat been skating instead of coasting it could have been prevented too (worst case scenario)
Even before then, freeze it at 0:16. If Redden closes the gaps with Marshall while he's gaining the blue line, the play is dead. Instead, he backs away.
@Roaddawg71 as a broadcaster I can tell you, we don't look at the monitors during play, monitors are used for replays and such...during the call he wasn't looking at the monitors
i remember this like it was yesterday, i got so excited that i busted up my knuckles by hitting them on a low ceiling. that wa sthe best pain i have ever felt! lol
@garalai HA! I had a memorable leap, too. I accidentally jumped into some woman who was standing near us at the bar. She got pissed as if three of us weren't standing in one spot screaming for nearly three hours. Even her man understood.

new jersey dosent deserve a franchise they cant even sell out in playoff games! and the only times they sell out in the regular season is wen toronto ottawa islanders or rangers or habs visit and considering the good folks down in hamilton will trade their right leg for a franchise it disgusts me that new jersey has one
I remeber game 1 senators@devils the building was only 81% full!!!! thats like 10000 empty seats and gont get me started about the regular season the devils are basement dwellers in attendance. They got a new arena and still average 15500 people lol anyway plz stop replying this video devestates me
19th out of 30 isnt "basement dwelling". I hope you tune in tomorrow, Game 7, Devils vs Canes, in front of yet another SOLD OUT crowd at the Prudential Center.
fuck u i was born in ottawa but the sens weren;t around so i cheered for the wings then i started going to sens games form 1993-2004 then i moved to edmonton man fuck go back to prudental ceenre where its 77% full on a playoff game!!!!!!!!!
Actually every Prudential Center playoff game has sold out, and the Senators were the only Canadian team this season not to sell out every game. Everyone know Ottawa is the joke of Canadian hockey, people who cant afford Leafs tickets go to Senators games. How about those Sens win a cup, a real one, before talking shit. Keep jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon you fake douche-bag. Oh man you guys were so close in 2003.
That's the best you got? That response was as bankrupt as the Senators when they couldn't even afford to pay there own players. Go back to reading your teenage girl vampire book you joke.
that had nothing to do with the attendance u tit and twilight is a tennage girl vampire book? which is why it was an international best seller for like 3 months idiot ur case is as weak as the devils fan support
Pass in front scooooores Druuury and 60% of the crowd is cheering and on their feet
thanks for opening your legs Redden hopefully you do more of that with the rag$
that goal was awesome and i almost wanted to break the TV after Thorne said it was no goal... then it WAS a goal.. obviously it went in but hes so stupid lmao.. anyway Lets go DEVILS
In all three cups, there was always one moment where I thought to myself, "This is our year!" 1995- Dowds game winning goal in game 2. 2000- Scott Stevens hit on Lindros. 03: well...this goal.
are you talking about the 95 ecf? that goal was a big one indeed. but I think Dowd's goal just set the record straight and shocked the hockey world because no opne thought NJ would go back to NJ with a 2-0 lead against the president trophy winners.
yes, but I had a feeling they would win that game, plus New Jersey was winning that series no matter what, Philly had taken the momentum away in 95, and we stole right back in a heartbeat, that's why I think it was that moment
One of, if not the biggest goal in Devils ECF history. Along with Lemeiux on Hextall in 1995 vs the Flyers and Elias' clincher in 2000 also against Philly.

All three playoff games in NJ so far = sold out. And Game 7 on Tuesday is sold out already.
The Canes failed to sell out a game so far this playoffs, and they are supposed "Caniacs".
