hes good.what you wear matters,tuck your shirt in or wear a short one so the partner or viewer sees the body movements clearly.dancers wear tieghts for a reason.best wishes to you both
As someone who is new to salsa dancing and just trying to figure out the steps, I find this video helpful. Some videos are full of fancy turns, the women are constantly spinning, the men take tiny steps and wiggle their hips so much that it is hard for me to recognize the basic steps. That is why this is called basic. Not complicated and easy to follow foe beginners. Thanks for posting!

Once we are able to execute the basic steps without consciously thinking or counting we can move on to the techniques which involves dancing with a partner.
