When I Pray

I'm an "inquirer" in the Catholic faith...at one of our meetings Sister Sharon who is leading our inquiry, explained the various types of prayer; vocal, meditative and contemplative...then she played this beautiful recording...it couldn't have come at a better time because I don't think I really thought I ever knew how to pray...we were silent and I felt my body become calm, relaxed and I "go deeper"...first time ever, it was awesome,not sure if I came closer to God, but felt I will keep trying

Beautiful video and song! Seems like lots of comments from some sort of inner pain projected as hate for God, Spirituality and Religion are currently at the top of this comment list. When I pray... nothing changes. That's because the only thing that happens is you feel calmer since praying is like meditation.

Try it and I'll prove it, if you meditate for a bit without praying you'll feel the same effects as when you pray. Their 2 different ways of doing the same thing the only thing is people often excpect something supernatural to happen when they pray.
