The day I did the video we dismounted the header and moved the machine twice over a total of probably 10 miles. It moved over 3/4 mile once with the header on also.
We had moisture problems along with weeds slowing us down. Still got over 200 acres.
can't complain about 80-100 bushel..that's good to hear...we were about the same here in eastern washington...had 1 field of spring wheat go 63...i was amazed
I enjoyed seeing the video response from Austrailia. You can bet they weren't harvesting anything like the yields we were in. The yield monitor was constantly over 80 bu per acre and many times over 100 bu per acre.
Wheat harvest usually runs from July 10 through July 4 (if you are lucky.) We have enough moisture that weeds can get to be a problem if it goes much longer than that. I know some have had to windrow their wheat and let the weeds dry but I've never seen it done. We rip through harvest so the second crop soybeans can be planted after wheat harvest.
It has 3 buttons for the throttle. Idle, Medium and Run. That's it. If you throttle back when the separator is engaged you ought to hear the alarms going off.
Good video. How do you like the 635F in cereals when the sun goes down and the dew is out?

In Kansas double cropping soybeans is a risk unless it is irrigated or your in eastern ks, we just don't get the moisture that Missouri does.

I didn't get over to the hay fields - they had 3 large hay balers running too.
Lots of action and busy people on that day.
