@Gromitdog1 I don't know about if they can "ever" enter one, but since gliders are flown very close to a stall while thermalling, gliders are typically designed to be recoverable from and certified for spins.
@Gromitdog1 if the center of gravity is too close to the tail, the glider could enter a flat spin. This only happens if there is not enough weight in the Pilot's seat(front seat in two-seaters)
