hey man, great looking car! Im looking at black bullitt wheels as well, but i cant decide whether to go the the 18" and the 20". How do you like the 20" wheels? Is the ride quality good? Have you noticed any rubbing issues? Also, i heard that 20" wheels bend more than 18", have you noticed any defects with the 20"? Sweet S197 V6 Thanks Bro!
@CStauffer92 I would recommend going with the 20" rims as they look significantly better. The 18"s look good, however, the extra 2 inches really make a difference. The ride will be a little more rough, but not enough to have made me complain about it. There are no rubbing issues whatsoever, I was worried when they were installing them, but they fit perfectly once they were on the car. The car has been sold, but I drove it for about 6 months with the rims on, and I found no defects whatsoever.
instead of wasting money on a fake scoop, heavy 20 inch rims , and specially the single exhaust. should have wasted the money on the engine first, then the looks....and u need a drop
@lxshuffler117 The car has been sold. It was bought cheap with the intention of reselling it after a few months. I buy and sell cars as a part time job. Engine modifications very rarely increase resale value. If they do, only those seeking a more powerful car will be interested... therefore limiting possible customers. There was no point in spending a couple thousand dollars on engine modifications. If I had planned on keeping the car for years, then I would have. I spent money on looks instead.
@lxshuffler117 You have a good point, but not everyone wants to run 12's or quicker, run 150+ up and down the highway. Some people just want a nice car to take a Sunday cruise in, hit up the beach, go out to dinner with.
I used to have the same attitude. Basically the "leave the car 100% stock outside, not even tint, every dollar goes into the engine" attitude. Maybe if it were 1997 again, the whole sleeper thing would still be cool, but a nice looking car is just, well, nice!
@webangbang Nope, there was never an issue with clearance. I thought there was going to be when we put them on, but there were still a few inches of space
Couldn't agree any more. I chose to not get duals though because of the fact that they would have cost $500 instead of the $150 for the single. I put the money towards my rims... which I think turned out for the better in the end.
yeah thats smart... with mine though i decided to get the duals, and bought my rims and tires from a junkyard, they were basically new for a third of the price.
awesome vid man i have a v6 convertible check the vid..im going from glasspacks to two amercian thunder axlebacks since i have a daul setup already.. how much did those wheels run ya..i wanna put 20's on mine but i dnt wanna be all flashy and shit keep a clean muscle look to it...
@BrOckL33 No problem, on mine I removed the 3rd catalytic converter (to free up the exhaust) and put a 1 chambered flowmaster muffler in its place.
I had my muffler shop fabricate me a brand new y-pipe underneath because my old one was messed up, and I just chopped off the stock mufflers and put angle cut tips in its place... I forget the size of them.

very nice stang....where did you buy the parts online or at a local store?
KEESTANG 1 year ago
@KEESTANG Sorry for the late response.. the spoiler and hood scoop were bought from a friend who owns a body shop, and the rims were bought online.
