  • does it fit socet 775?

  • Yes, its universal and it has the bracket for 775 CPUs, the problem is, its power connector is a 3 pin plug, which means the fan is running @ full speed at all times and cannot be controlled. I wonder if motherboards with on board Cool n Quiet could control it.

  • I have one its big moves a lot of air in all directions and its silent has nice blue LEDs got it for $45 at New Egg

  • I'm going to wait till they do either a hybrid AL-CU version of it, or an entirely aluminum model. This thing weighs as much as a baby's head. Even with a backplate you have to be uber careful of jostling your rig around. The design is gorgeous, but the fins are like razorblades (not a bad thing for cooling, but very bad if you stick your hand into your case without a glove). People think I'm emo self-mutilating because I have all these cuts on my hands!

  • love it!! gives u a lot more better performance (have a Gigabyte p35-ds4 motherboard and an intel core2duo 2.7.Ghz) :)

  • i dont no if this is good or not bought this fan its stays around 49-51C idle and 67 on max load

  • 2 words

    thermal grease

  • there is its on a amd9850x4 but i fliped my case intake fans 48-50C and 55c max load

  • Sorry, I was assuming that you had an Intel processor. They tend to be much cooler than AMD ones, especially the Core 2 Duo series. What case do you have?

  • its one of the blue acrylic cases no idea what the brand is

  • Sunbeam probably

  • thats bad, what cpu u have? my highest with this goes 50 degrees on heavy game!

  • phenom 9850

  • aint she a porn star?

my q6600 run smooth n cool.

    we made a good choice..

  • yes of corse I really ought it for my 8800 cose it cools everything and its fuckin cool and big! :)

  • it sucks in tests

  • i have one of these, but there is somethink quite wrong, i have read loads of reviews on it, and with the Huge thermal disipation that is being said and the lowering of temps significantly. mine is the same as the stock cooler, on a P4HT 3.4GHZ it's hitting 67c on full load and 58 on idle!

checked everythink and have excellent air flow in the case! who knows what it could be!

  • Made in China :)

  • I Want this cooler a lot! Its so coooool!!!
