In addition to being a monster guitarist, Bob Mould is also a good keyboard player. After listening to this several times, it occurred to me that he's playing a keyboard on this song (not a guitar!). I just wish they'd film him actually playing the damn thing!

The main riff is a 3rd fret G-C-D, then modulates to bounce between 6th fret Bb-Db at 1:08 and ~2:00 (haven't quite worked out the walk-down). It sounds like he's playing harmonics with his index finger. I love the overdriven sound of this song - sounds like he's got the neck firmly planted in the amp the entire time.
