I am very concerned when a person even jokingly pretends to rip pages from the Bible and throw them away. I have some problems with what he did in this video clip.
Many people would be horrified to see a "man of God" showing so little respect for the Bible that he trips pages out of the Bible. I am not horrified by that, but am concerned about his rather obvious grand standing to make a point. And the organ music in the background reminds me of theaters, where they used to have organ music to emphasize what is being said. Looks very theatrical, not very spiritual to me.
You wouldnt like the ministry of folks like Ezekeil or Isaiah who would strip down naked walk through the city and eat cow dung to make a point. And are you really that unfamiliar with different aspects of church culture other than your own? This is a very promenent way to minister and has been for over 100 years. This was from his The Classics Re-Mix where he preached some of his classic messages again. We did this late 2007. I can assure you when he began to tear pages out of the bible (and it was real and not planned) most of us wanted to fall on the ground. But if it is gripping to tear pages out of a bible how profoundly staggering it is to ignore the truth of God's word for your life. Is 48:18 "If you had heeded my commandments then your peace would have been like a river..."

This was a really good service. He was preaching about how some Pastors don't preach the whole Bible... and they pick and choose what to believe out of it. The underlying point being... the WHOLE Bible... is absolute truth.

As far as I know he didn't rip the text just the index and etc. at back of book. BUt that was a good message. I love him he is one of the few who preaches holiness and repentance on T:V.
