Ok, to add my own opinion into this, if you want to see a bad sonic game. Go find yourself a copy of Sonic R. Then tell me 06 is the worst sonic game. Sonic R was from the "golden" genesis days, so to anyone trying to say, "oh well its old so thats different" like hell it is, and my already stated rebubtle proves so. Sooo ya, Sonic R, terrible, terrible game
@linkkicksu The games fun especially if you're a fan, there are glitches and parts that aren't too fun, but it had one of the better storylines in the recent games :D (now i wish i could find my copy >.<)
@SpartanUnDead Yeah, I found sonic unleashed pretty fun too even with all the bad reviews. I guess they were badmouthing the wii version because the xbox and ps3 versions were much longer.
@linkkicksu All the glitches you've heard about aren't myths, but they aren't something you'll encounter on a regular basis. Sure, there'll be a few that you'll not be able to help, but run into, literally, but most of the other glitches can be avoided. In all honesty, the game isn't that horrible, it only has problems if you go looking for them. If you can cope with some annoyances,(i.e. long loading time, bad camera angles, Silver's voice) the game can be really fun.
@DrKnockOut1115 I honestly had fun with the Mach Speed zones. They were difficult and annoying at times, but I liked them. It was dealing with Elise through some stages that really irked me.

In fact, don't listen to any of the game-reveiwers, they're all jackasses who give bad reviews to good games, just because they're not Halo.
Not only that, Skyrim has more than ten times as many glitches than this game, and everybody's dry-humping it like nobody's business. If Skyrim is awesome (which it is), then this Sonic game is awesome (which it also is).
Most people accuse Sega for this games bad gameplay and death traps. But really Sega only had a development team make the game so If you want someone to blame, blame the developers for not making this game as good as it could be. In my opinion the company should hire a different team to make a remastered sort of version that fixes the gameplay issues and solving the problem.
This game is very underrated. I know it's not the best, but it's certainly not the worst. I can think of many ways to have made this game better, but I can think of even more ways to improve the better games.
That said, the Egg-Wyvern was a pretty awesome boss. My first time fighting him, he did kill me a few times, but mostly because I kept accidentally falling off the edge.
The first time I actually beat him, I got an S Rank.
IMO, that's as much of the game as you really want to see. The music, the graphics, and the villians are nice, but the good news ends there about this game.
@Iblitazer the part i hate most about the game is that they made sonic die! never make a hero die in his own video game! that was the worst portion of the video game and for that sega should soooo pay.
@perfecttakara Mega Man X5 did it, and people love the game. In fact, people keep saying it should have ended at it like the dev. wanted. With one character dying, and the other killed and resuscitated.
Mega Man Zero 4 also did it. But that was a finale...
At least you're NICE about it. So I don't bring undue flame upon me, I will also say that the music (at least) is spot on. Will have to disagree on the 'villians' part though.
@FantasyFan635 Its a fun game, I enjoy it very much to this day, problem is ppl think you can run at 15,000 miles an hr through it like nothing. Need to be careful, and if you are and know what your doing then you can mix speed into it.
Sonic R is one of my favorite Sonic games. :(
