As a Gran Turismo fanatic I have to acknowledge the ultimate fact that FORZA 2 completely destroys any other racing simulator's sound effects. Driving a LeMans Porsche 956 and it actually sounding like a 956, i mean thats just beautiful. Gran Turismo delivers sheer racing realism but the sound effects are completely off and other forms of over exaggeration are found in other sounds such as tire squeal. Kudos to the developers for not only producing a pretty good racing game but the best music.
Hey, I think the sound in Forza is the biggest thing they could improve on. I drive a Mustang GT every day, and yeah, the game sounds maybe 70% like the real thing... I'd say more like 50%. The real thing is deeper, less raspy.
Love Forza2 though, Best game in the history of gaming.
nice,, but there is 2 much of a gap in sound between shifts... still pretty good,, i wonder if the supercharger, an turbo sounds are more distictive an accurate? until may25th =P

Ohhh....Forza's music makes me want to shove a pipe in my ear and hit it with another pipe.
It has way to small of a playlist, and also get's realy old.

The problem with Forza is they have a good engine sound, but the mufflers aren't as good. Still great though, love the game.

as if the first sound is a squencial gear box but still u can hear the shifts are faster

i think personally that forza 2 has done a real good job replicating the in game sounds of over 300 cars!!! with that kind of accuracy

I didnt notice the whine of the turbo's kicking at all...I dont think its their unless you do a ground view while racing...
