  • Love your review dear

  • Hey, love the video.

Personally, I follow the I AM religion, which states that every creature, man, beast, alien, etc... is part of God.

But I have done some reading on the Craft during my searching years. I've found Basil E Crouch to be powerful and moving, though some of his stuff has a dark side to it that probably should be avoided.

If you haven't heard of it, some of his material shows neat flower potions, love rituals, etc... really cool stuff.

    All the best

  • awsome (:

  • WOW!! I must check this out!! I have Scott Cunningham's "Magical Herbalism", but this is definitely going on my 'must acquire' list. :)

    Thanks for the info!!

    Blessed be times Three!!! )0( )0( )0(

  • thanx for the reccomendations!!!!!!! Blessed be!!!!!!!

  • If you pay attention, the bible does promote witchcraft in its own way. Still, christianity is a teensy lot sexist... Btw luv the video!!!

  • Thank you! I'm looking into this and I love a good place to start. :D

  • Wicca: A guide, the first book shown is Fantastic for the beginner. Scott Cunningham really has a crystal clear writing style that makes it so easy to understand and grasp. Earth, Air, Fire, and Water is a great one too by him

  • U recommended some really good books and I bought the same book when I first started out :)

  • ThAnks u dr

  • @AnyaPagan mine has been on the shelf since my mum 1st gotten it for me, now it's hobby is collecting dust.. I love my books on wicca :)

  • @AnyaPagan

    Bad ass! ^-^ ~DragonFeather )O(

  • @Slkilby ive read both i win owend!!!

  • @Slkilby Dont be so cocky, you have your religion, we have ours, you have a problem with that? then go back to your church and pray to your god, pray for forgivness, because belive me, i bet you arent the little angel that you want people to think, stop hiding behind the shadow of your religion and get a backbone, Many thanks, Non christian.

  • @Slkilby my grandpa was from rural GA and past in 1978, he did witchcraft. stuff w chicken feet, magic dust, built his own coffin. what is some stuff he might have studied at the time? thanks

  • @Slkilby we're not pushing our religion down your throat so why are you? this is something i don't understand about christians on youtube - why do they go through wiccan videos when they dislike them so much?

  • You are one of the few that read the complete guide of witchcraft by raymond buckland, I love that book. Though its my only one its the book that helps me with whatever I need, has lots of information! )O( Blessed be.

  • Burn all those barks please , those books destroyed alot of community's *animals* Write from your own essence , you within is the most important for yourself ,all else outside comes second.... Please remember you dont need anything from outside from yourself... not even food for one can become breatharian , Lovely realize your origin shine , be well!

  • R.I.P Scott Cunningham June 27, 1956 – March 28, 1993

    blessed be )o(

  • EAT

  • @TheNarlyBones I do eat.

  • @AnyaPagan can i EAT you?

  • @AnyaPagan I get told this all the time, just ignore it. Once I did put on too much weight for my body but I wasnt overly fat- still people would bully me and tell me I was fat. Went down to my normal size again (runs in the family to be tall and slim, my dad was called "chicken legs" at school) and still people were telling me im too thin, some people are just bullies and need to look in the mirror at their own insecurities/imperfections before they decide it wise to point the finger and judge.

  • Cool! Just one real quick question, where can I get a Nimbus 2000? Also, my wand broke.....Do you know Hermione Granger? I want her number!

  • @SmileysRevenge100 your very rude

  • Thanks! DONT EVER READ A BOOK CALLED "What's the deal with Wicca?" by Steve Russo

    Horrible!

    Blessed be!

  • My copy of Wicca A Guide for the Solitary looks like yours--worn from much reading and use! I love that! Great reviews! I just got Earth Magic by Cunningham, I love it! Thanks for sharing with us.

    Blessed be!

    Bob

  • Recommending a few Wiccan books? I think you`ve got them all!

  • have you read "The Ultimate BOS for the New Generation Solitary Witch" by Silver Ravenwolf? It is AMAZING! Deffinatley worth reading just a little pricey by my budget. There is also a very inspirational book i read stories out of when need be called "Out of the Broom Closet" I cant remember the auther off the top of my head but talk about inspirational! It makes me feel even more proud to call myself a Pagan.

  • Nice review. It honestly doesn't matter what "style" of witchcraft anyone does. Anyone who truly knows and understands magic(k) knows you can worship a completely imaginary, cute purple dragon with spots and get the same results. If you use ritual as a tool then some structure does help and most guides will give that, even fluffy bunnies. Just make sure you resonate and feel some passion. It's about intention and will, belief and passion/Love. Most important is to actually DO the Work.

  • Scott Cunningham makes out as if Wicca is a do it yourself religion which is complete nonsense. I respect neo-Wiccans, but when they make out as if it's a do it yourself religion, then they have just crossed the line. Edian McCoy is a horrible author, she's the one who thought that the potato was an ancient goddess symbol in Ireland even though potatos are not even native to Ireland and they were not around in Ireland back in pagan times. Read stuff by Gerald Gardner if you want serious Wica!

  • @PaganWarrior100 What do you think Gerald Gardner did when he made up Wicca? It was "do it himself",lol Most of it is Co Masonry and O.T.O. ritual, not even European. But even historically, traditional European Witchcraft was always "do it yourself". Majority were solitary and small communities that honored ancestors and the natural spirits of the area along with some cultural deities sometimes. There were many ways to worship and live. It's inside you, guides only give ideas and structure.

  • @7The7Green7 Although I agree that Gardner created the religion from a pick and mix from different pagan and occult sources as well as Freemasonry, I personally believe that to be Wica you have to be initiated into a traditional Gardnerian or Alexanderian coven. Gardner created the cult, and made it clear that to be Wica, you had to be initiated. There are other witchcraft traditions, and the neo-paganism that this girl follows is fine, but it's not actually Wicca.

  • @PaganWarrior100 you use the term Neo-pagans, so i assume you are over 50 to not be considered one yourself. Yes you do need to be initaited into a coven to be a member of a coven, but not to follow the path of wicca. I am sure it will be pointed out a dozen ways how I am wrong, afterall, the "witchier than thou" thing is running rampant in the community at the moment.

  • @Tinyoak2 I don't really see the point in the term ''neo-pagan''. Pagan is good enough for me. I use the term neo-pagan to describe those whose paths are generally more supported by the neo-pagan movement which seems to promote Paganism as a religion rather than an umbrella term which is what it is. There is so such path as Wicca in my opinion, the Wica are those who practise Gardner's witchcraft religion which he never called Wicca. I make no claims of being ''witchier than thou''.

  • a bubble head recommending what books to read lol

  • @ostormbringero what do you mean by "bubble head"?

  • @AnyaPagan ur an idiot

  • @ostormbringero why would you say that?

  • @AnyaPagan because he wants your cat. ignor them.

  • all classic must have books..

  • Good video... and ur really pretty

  • My god sweetie, you are thin. :c <3

  • are you anorexic?

  • Girl!!..lol. I have all those...you and i are alot alike :) :) ~ Blessed be

    thanks for the reccomondations

i have some videos on wicca of mai journey

  • So many people recomend Cunningham's book Wicca.

  • ok one thing that people dont get the "divine comedy" the inferno" meaning hell in italian is and read closely DONTE'S! INFERNO its no everyones hell its his view! his wildest imagination! on what happens if you commit a certain sin! its not real!!!!! so if you dont wanna be catholic and wanna be pagan go right ahead no one is stopping you! you have one life do whatever you want! the devil is not real he is early christian propaganda that has been used now to scare 3 year old into prying!

  • Thank you Anya,you're super

  • Burn the witch!

  • For anyone who's interested in reading any of these pagan/wiccan books i know for a fact a few of them are on scribed (dot) com.... very good website for reading ebooks. I rated 5 stars BTW.

  • i have some scott cunningham books. he is the lead author of my collection. check out my video of my alter and books. i haven't gotten through bucklands complete book of shadows yet or solitary witch by silver ravenwolf

  • your altar is awesome

  • i think shes beautiful. and her books are really good. you cant judge someone based on their looks.

  • @AnyaPagan I know that it's been forever, but I dislike the woman because she lies not because I think she's ugly. She condems the Catholics then refferences the Divine Comedy? she says that the Church tried to destroy music but I LISTEN TO EARLy music! it doesn't make sense! I could go on but I don't have the space

  • @Openheimmer666 im not sure what you're refering to here

  • @AnyaPagan Phillis Currots book Book of Shadows and why I hate the woman.

  • @Openheimmer666 i love that book. i find it very inspiring.

  • @Openheimmer666 Hate? Would be informational to understand where youre coming from!

  • @safehouse123 I dispise people who lie like her (Currot). Much of what she wrote in Book of Shadows made no sense, or seemingly contradicts itself. Then the one after that, I found utterly useless! It's the one the lass in the vid mentions. She's a poor writer and seems like a smug bitch. I can back this all up just give me time to find those books again.

  • @Openheimmer666 Yes, I have her "Book Of Shadows" I would like to know what the discrepancies are....Is the book youve read?

  • u left out a few in mind. they r very very good authors. lexa rosean, judika illes, & ileana abrev

  • @abrakadbrabingbangbo

    Yea obviously

It's like when you look like someone, but don't at the same time

  • i agree with most of your list, but i feel you overlooked Silver Ravenwolf

  • i really dont care for silver ravenwolf.

  • @AnyaPagan ed fitch?

  • You know I hear that alot. I have her "Solitary Witch, ultimate book of shadows" book and I foud some things in there that just didn't sound right. It seems like she tries to teach "her way" instead of letting one find their own path. I'm fairly new to Wicca so I'm in no position to say anything. Thanks for the vid though, Blessed Be!

  • @AnyaPagan im currently working on SRW things...I like it. (The idea of an exam at the end of the second book is neat...im even adding to it) Can you recommend other authors/books?

  • you remind me of venussatanas

    ......

  • who?

  • Ellen Dugan blocked and deleted me on myspace :(.

    But she's an amazing author..

    Do you think it's just because i'm 13? :/

  • maybe, im not sure...

  • thanks for makng this vid it was ver ver helpful :D

  • Oh god, that's comical.

  • omg i just got that

  • I'm going to look into some of the books you mentioned :)

One of my favorites is "Earth Magic" by Marion Weinstein. I also love anything by Scott Cunningham.

Really great video :) Very informative.

  • i Love Scott Cunningham and Ellen Dugan.

she has a Amazing! book called Natural Witchery, which i think you would enjoy.

also another she has is Cottage Witchery, which is like The Magickal Household by scott (which i Love)

  • no it's a pentacle.

  • I will defintiely check some of those out. =]

Another great vid! You are really pretty btw. =]

  • thank you.

    =)

  • O-o *squints at pendant on your necklace* Is that a raven by chance?
