it's a baby polar bear... I'm pretty sure it's not possible to get them anywhere... the bear was rejected by his mother, so the zookeeper is taking care of him.

That is so sweet, BUT what is gona happen in 6 months when he 'fights' back !

It's 11 months later and he still cuddles with his 'daddy'. Since he sees Dörflein as his 'mom' he would probably never hurt him just like polar bears would not hurt they real life mother. And they are with their mother for 2.5 years so even now that he is quite heavy he is still a kid and needs close contact. Dörflein will know and decide himself when it is to dangerous, even if Knut might never even hurt him when he is upgrown.
