I'm sure you already figured this out but for the benefit of new "pilots": The problem was that you were approaching a stall when you tried to go "up". There is a certain airspeed you must maintain no matter where you point the nose. As you attempted to climb your air speed went below what was needed to maintain lift. For your aircraft you should have about 30 mph minimum during your climb. Much below that speed and your just fooling yourself pulling back to go up. Pilot mind thy airspeed :-)
@parrich15 OK, I see the trim tab now. The MX I had didn't have an elevator trim.
That was your first flight EVER, or just your first flight in an MX2? If that was your first flight ever, then I'm impressed. That could have easily been a bad accident.
Thank you, you are absolutely right...

@heliovespa There is no elevator trim on a Quicksilver MX2.

@sam1174 This was my first flight ever. There is a trim , it is the shiny thing that we can see on the left elevator.
I did not realise it was set up and of course low speed. I did better afterwards.

@sam1174 First flight EVER. We assembled it in the morning and was not supposed to fly, but just a little jump.
I was caught by surprise when it took off when I cut the throttle. I guess you already know why it does that on a pusher?
What saved me is that I had flown RC airplanes before. So I managed to stop the porpoising and land smoothly on top of the hill.
