  • I knew I loved Ambrose records for a reason! I love his dance- in -a-trance tempo on this.. Same as The Coconut Grove broadcasts from Hollywood in 1932. So popular here in the States that it became the theme song of the Arnheim band. Ambrose tops it though with key changes thrown in to ice the cake. Brilliant. !

  • I`LL EAT MY STRAW HAT IF YOU CAN FIND A AMBROSE ORCH, RECORD FROM THE LATE 20s & early 30s That Is BAD!!! This band had CLASS!!!

  • i love finding different old versions of this song! very cool :)

  • Nice arrangement...try the Carroll Gibbons/ Al Bowlly version for ultimate perfection, though...

  • Never saw a red lable for a dance orchestra in the B series, I thought this was the color for the international DA & DB series.

  • I liked that song...the record label with Nipper is cool too.

  • In UK the little nipper was the trademark of HMV, he gets around a bit. I've got a nice version of this song by Bryan Ferry.
