  • hey ur chow chow is sooo cute!!! :) where did u get him and how big do they grow?

  • joy is from a breeder in germany. he is 32 kilograms and about 54cm. just google "chows von der tschey"

  • I bought him at the Eifel in Germany. He is now grown up and about 54 cm and 32-34 kg. See wikipedia for more detailles information on the breed

  • Where did you get your Chow? I am looking for a male jet black pure breed Chow puppy with champion bloodlines. Let me know. Thanks.

  • This awesome video makes me laugh! I love how your dog just sits there like a person would and gives a lot of thought before making his decision. No doubt that Chows are the SMARTEST dog breed out there! I really want one of these dogs.

  • There is no smarter breed out there. You are absolutely right. Joy Chi-Wong is probably the smartest :-)

  • awesome.

but one thing to make you think about: do you know, what Chow-Chow means?

    delicate-delicate.

  • :/ actually, the name for the Chow Chow is derived from Pidgin English slang terminology for miscellaneous cargo on board the ships used back when the Chows were first brought to Europe.

  • Lol This is so cute. He's like "just give me the damn treat. I don't have time for games."

  • OH MY GODNESS! u and ur CHOW CHOW are both adorable!!!!! ur CHOW CHOW is sooooooooo cute and sooooooo smart!!!! I notice he will think over before he point a bottle!! soooooo cute!!! I love ur CHOW CHOW!

  • Very cute.

  • Very CUTE!!!

    Lacking intelligence...

    Gimmy a thumbs up!

  • Is is pretty cute. I love when he paws at one of the cups.

  • haha XD cute

  • Wow! What a smart chow! My sister says that chows are stupid esp. ours since they don't fetch! Duh! they are bred to be guard dogs! They wouldn't be good at their job if they played fetch! I am going to show her this video so she sees that chows are indeed very intelligent!

  • In general, chows have above average intelligence in all the dog breeds. As with everything, a small percentage of any group will be exceptional in intelligence. I've been lucky to have had 17 dogs in my life, with 4 remaining. I have chosen chows because of their affection and intelligence. My alpha may, happens to be the SMARTEST dog I personally have known. He is amazing and yes he is a CHOW CHOW.

  • yes very true we have had chow chows ever since i was born and they are far from stupid i personly like yourself think there 1 of the smartest dog breeds around..what i think makes people who dont understand them say there stupid is not the fact that there stupid its that they can be very stubern

  • He very intelligent. And very handsome!!!

  • Hahaha co cute! What a great thing to teach a dog.

  • ahaha

    cute and smart..how perfect!

  • ce chow chow semble avoir un nez très fin!!!!

  • i do this with my chow too!!! haha =D

  • How cute!!! I want a chow !!

  • interesting!

  • im so want a chow chow!

  • i love it

  • This is hysterical!!! I own a Chow Chow, looks very similar to Joy's. I will have to teach mine to do this!

  • A chow doesn't need much training. Just try some markies or so and after 10min or so, he knows what to do :-)

  • Joy Chi-Wong is magnificent! 5 STARS!!!

  • Joy says: "Thank you. But the next two weeks I'm on holiday with my brother Jack Chi-Wong. Maybe new videos after this" :-)

  • this is pretty darn amazing. I absolutely love chows, and talk about a testament to their intelligence! My family has a beagle and a rhodesian ridgeback, neither of which I don't think could follow along and find the treat like your chow! They'd be much more interested in knocking all the cups over or chewing on them than anything else :3

  • Thanks for your comment. Chows are rather "thinking" than doing something. :-)

That's why Joy looks at the cups for a while, before trying to find the markies. In my opinion, they are the greatest dogs in the world! I'm gonna post a video of Joy an his brother Jack in the near future...

  • they are indeed the greatest dogs in the world im thinking about buying another one but damn it's sad to let them go...........specially when you get so attached to them and then boom they'er gone...take care of your chow

  • what happened to your chow? i know it's sad when they are gone. mine died suddenly 6 months ago. we suspect tainted dog food.

  • he died actually he died on 9/11/01 like the attacks on the twin torrers ill neva forget it he was jus laying there on my backyard take care of ur dogs
