those are some awsome guitars , I like the head hunter the most the angel is cool to, gland to see that you make guitars that brake the mold and dont look like fenders and gibsons . ''cheers''
my fav guitar would b either the Headhunter or the White Angel. This is Drew. I made a new account. Check out my guitar designs (they're just drawings) but don't steal them lol :)
Those parts look like you found them in a dumpster. I mean come 'on, A Kahler Flyer??? In my honest opinion, hardware wise, these guitars look like you just threw parts on it.
The Kahler is the only trem that works on a thin body guitar. They are not my fave as I am a floyd man. BTW I made that guitar for my own abuse, I take it you think EMG makes crap pups too?
Scallops are an acquired taste. They make it easier to bend the strings as the string grips into your finger more, thus it doesn't slip out as easily.
they're all the same, different guitars are just a waste of wood. ive stuck with my first solid electric that i got when i was 3. and im 14 now. my vanguard still sounds and looks good.
Flame on Johnny Storm. I love advice from 14 year olds! All of that wisdom I just have to admire. Try to make one yourself, but be ready to work hard and sweat your ass off, since they are all carved by hand, by an artist with a degree. Just go play on your strat clone like everyone else and bugger off!
Your workmanship is great! I'm more of a natural finish kind of guy myself but I do know the time and skill it takes to do sunburst paintjobs. I'm definitely liking the Angel and the Intelligent especially. That headstock design on the last one is really interesting. I came up with an interesting way of doing headstocks, as well.
I realize they are art. I am a luthier myself, but the style just doesn't work for me. You do have good craftsmanship and I'm sure a lot of time and patience have gone into them, I just prefer a much smoother, flowing design. Yours remind me of BC Rich.
Bernie Rico was a visionary. Too bad his company went overseas. A big influence on my work for sure. I have lots of other designs, some a little more traditional. Just haven't had the time to build them yet. Just try to remember that insults are not constructive criticism. Every guitar has it's good and bad points.
Ahh, sorry I guess it was a bit harsh to call them "hideous". But remember, I did not try to focus on your bad points. You really do know what you're doing when making these.

those guitars inspired me to make my own design
neckslice666 3 years ago
Cool. I kind of got out of building for a while.
Just can't seem to sell them, even though they play and look great. People just don't want to take a chance on an unknown guitar maker.
Guess I'll just hang on to them.

What about a local music store like guitar center? They started buying not too long ago.

I hate to be mean, but I think half of those guitars are just hideous. But you have good workmanship.

These aren't just guitars dude. They are sculptures, art you can play. Not your everyday axe for sure.
I can make any style you want but it must be original, I will not copy another maker's design except for myself.

On that tele-looking guitar, the tuners look exactly like hagströms tuners, though I havent seen them in gold.

Those are Grover Imperials, they used them on old Jazz guitars.
