Odd... The book gives off a completely different vibe than the trailer. They make it sound like she was wrongly placed there, but it sounds like she really had trouble fitting in to normal society in the book. She had what I think they now call bipolar disorder which, yes, everyone seems to have nowadays. But it can really take a toll on a person and back then, little was known about it.
