I just love the intro by the two "music hosts" that don't know SHIT about the classic movie Casablanca, not the movie Key Largo as they stated, Coked-Out pretty faces, the one part of the 70's I will never miss.

Loved the video to this as a young teenager, and I used to think the pretty woman in the video was Bertie's lovely wife or girlfriend. Then recently, I read in an interview that she was a senior at the local high school near where they filmed the video and was just chosen on the spot. Oh, well! The video came out great. This is a timeless classic of a song. I listen to it a lot.

I first heard this song when I was around 5 or 6 yrs old. Its always been special to me, one of the greatest love songs ever recorded, and an incredibly touching voice makes it fun to sing. Thanks Bertie Higgins for a true classic!

This was my favorite in '82... I played this 45 on my stereo over and over again only to learn later that my brother, whose room was next to me, got so sick of me playing this. I still love this song. Never knew what Mr. Higgins looked like, didn't matter because loved the song. I think I was 13 when this song came out, so I could not indentify with the 'young couple trying to make it' concept. (That came later!) I will say that whenever I had tough times in my life, my escape has traditionally been vintage film & golden oldies! This song was re-asuring as a kid, that I was not the only one who used that trick!

This is a wonderful song. I heard it in Dallas on 88.5 KEOM a 70's top 40 School Station a few years ago. My mother who is nearly 80 says she likes this song too.

I have been to the keys in 1989. It is a wonderful place to visit. Like Another World.
