Egypt does not apply Sharia law, and if her father was a general in the secular Egyptian army, he probably was not a religious man either since Jamal Abdel Nasser was a nationalist, not an Islamist. As a Purdue student who was in attendance this night and saw both the Palestinian flag memorial and their protest earlier in the semester, I am truly disgusted with the University. I commend CCAV for having the courage to bring a speaker like Nonie Darwish to campus to explain the very real threat of Sharia law. All those who asked her questions in the audience, especially, the guy who ranted for three minutes straight, proved her point. Thank you Nonie! Thank you CCAV! God bless America!
